But then after many AD visits and RUclips reviews I finally settled on the watch that really caught my eye after 2 years of searching (age 16-18) and it was the Omega Seamaster Diver 300m on the bracelet in full black with the ceramic bezel. One month after my 18th birthday I got to go pick it up at my AD. And it was also about half a year after a 3 week hospital stay and emergency surgery due to complications of Crohn’s disease. Always buy it on a metal bracelet and buy the strap afterwards. That bracelet lasts for ever but the strap wears down relatively quickly. Also resale value is much better on the bracelet.

Congrats on the new purchase. I'm also a new Speedy owner. Just wondering whether you are finding the winding a bit stiffer/tighter than on a normal automatic watch?
I've found that this movement is a bit harder to wind than most. (I have the 50th anniversary speedmaster, but it's the same movement). You don't have to wind it all the way though. I tend to switch between my watches fairly frequently, so I give it 30 turns, and that's more than enough.
