Pool Noodle Hockey:
Equipment: 1 pool noodle for each player, several lightweight playground balls.
Game Description:
A modified version of hockey. Playing with pool noodles as hockey sticks levels the playing field for those who do not have much experience playing hockey.
Objective: To score goals on your opponents net and to prevent the ball from going into your net.
Game Rules:

Play 1 on 1, 2 on 2, or 3 on 3. Students can score on any of the 4 goals
Variations:
For younger ages, put out a bunch of balls and tell them to strike the ball into the nets to score points. OR …
Have one player be on offense and another player on defense as goalie. The offensive player gets 3 tries to score a goal. After 3 turns, make it miss, players trade jobs.
Safety Considerations:
No body checking allowed.
No tripping allowed.
No hitting with the pool noodle allowed.
