In this episode, I have visited one of the most adventure place "Dudhsagar Waterfall" !! Maximum tourist miss this site because it is in the interior part of Goa! Waterfalls is basically located on Goa-Karnataka boarder. Friends it worth visiting again and again. I have visited this waterfalls more than 5 times.

Dudhsagar waterfalls is really amazing. I have been there for 5 times and still love it!!!
Best time to visit this place is in monsoon but not from Goa u need to take train from londa junction(Karnataka) get down anywhere after castle rock station wherever train get slower its 16 km from castle rock station 11 tunnels dense jungle & don’t forget to take return ticket from londa station only. there is a train at 5pm Vasco Nizamuddin express if u miss it then u have 2 option either spend whole night in jungle or walk 16 km to castle rock station. I had been twice in monsoon 😍👌🏼

Later water level decreases.

Entry at Waterfalls starts at 9:30 am.
It takes almost 45 mins by taxi and then 15-20 mins walk to reach waterfalls.

There is paid washroom near Ticket counter. Later, near waterfalls there is a temporary changing area made for ladies and gents.

Yes, it was an amazing experience...
We were 4 friends on a trip for 4 days in goa from delhi....
1st day:-all water rides on that day and 2 main beaches in evening and night.
2nd day:-tried to go to dudhsagar but somehow got late in the goa city so plan cancelled at around 10 am... So explored all goa forts and churches.. Reis magos, augwada, augwada jail, one church which was in the way and dolphin safari (a unique experience) and in the night we have gone in a club near baga beach....
3rd day:-in very morning headed to dudhsagar waterfall with a taxi booked from panjim bus stop(our hotel was at baga so baga to pajim bus stop from our scooties, which we have parked at bus stop in charged parking). Pajim to molem then collem and finally dudhsagar waterfall... Taken a bolero of 7 persons and 3 persons other group and 4 were we.... So then there it is..... Its tremendous.... 60% were foreignours..... May be russions... 45 min for going time... 90 min stop time at waterfall(which we increased to 3 hours by extra charge to driver) and then 45 min return time.... Then at around 2 to 3 pm we headed with that taxi to spice farm which was also a very good experience...and then a church near on the way.... And then in night we have gone in a casino name casino palms near baga beach, 1000 per head entry ticket.... We won 2000 in total by purchasing a 500 rupees coin, extra pay of 500 from 4000....it was just awesome... Dinner and snacks and liquar was also included in that amount.... Drink snack was limited and dinner was unlimited.....
4th day:- we have done everything so now we have gone some new beaches which was far was in the north goa.... Arambol beach and a one near by.... On that beach 90%were foreignours.... This beach does not looks like a indian beach.... Just awesome... Sand was also very clean and clear...please use googles to not to hurt someone there with your eyes coz everyone will be in 2 piece....

South side Trains like Netravati, Ernakulam express crosses through Dudhsagar waterfalls. As well few other train crosses Kolem and Castle rock. You can take either train and click pictures or else you can get down to Kolem or Castle rock and walk a bit (not advisable) towaRds waterfalls.

My mum's house is in Dabolim. i live in KSA. will i be allowed to cycle from Dabolim thru Mollem thru Bhagwan Mahavir Forest Reserve? i will be solo. the year before last, the taxi driver was told there'd be problems if he let me ride through the forest. i might be back in 2 months and want to ride BLR-Goa... is there any decent road to cycle to the waterfall? it's a racing bike. thank you.

We you can ride from Dabolim to Mollem but riding inside forest is not allowed as entire sanctuary is under forest department.
Better is you try to ride till the entry point and then go in by govt vehicle. Dabolim to Mollem road is very beautiful you will enjoy your ride.

Yes truly it is one amazing place. You can to get down at castle rock and then reach dudhsagar or else get down at Madgoan and hire vehicle.

You can surely hire car. What you can do is book car route wise i.e. north side and south side. You need first decide places you want to visit and book car. As well local transportation is good in Goa, you can travel with that to few places to cut down the expenses.
This is the most favourite place of mine coz my father was posted in Castle Rock station
I have not visited the falls.. But this video made me eager to visit this place. Is this falls located in south goa?

I am glad you liked Dudhsagar waterfalls video. I took other route where govt. vehicle takes us to the starting point.
October is best time to visit, I am sure you will enjoy.
From drop point to waterfalls it takes almost 15-20 mins by walk. They allow 1.5hrs to be in waterfalls.

Which is the cleanest beach in Goa and where can I try snorkeling and scuba diving and their costs
I feel south Goa has cleanest beaches. But Scuba and Snorkeling is done mostly in North Side. You should plan Malvan for snorkeling and scuba because there you can see corals.

Entry time is from 9am to 5pm.
I recommend that you reach early so that you will get less crowd.

Definitely you can take your kids in water. Just keep note of few things:
- Make them wear life-jackets
- Water is generally cold so dont be in water for too long
- If your kids are toddlers then take extra care
- Avoid going towards the main rock i.e. waterfall as water flow is high.
Rest you can throughly enjoy the ride, route and waterfall.

I think you need to take permission for Drone.
Trekking route is different for visiting the dudhsagar waterfalls from the way I went, I have given detailed information about costing in video.

At Dudhsagar waterfalls water is around 10-12 ft. Even I am a non-swimmer and I enjoyed a lot. They give you life-jacket and it helps you to float. You should definitely visit.

Yes view from train is really awesome.
Best part is train route is on even in monsoon when Dudhsagar waterfall is in it’s full glory.
I witnessed it when I was traveling in Netravalli express.
You get two views from train, one is distant view and other one is when you go through waterfall.

- Agauda Fort
- Temples of Goa like Mangeshi, Shantadurga
- Dudhsagar waterfalls

And for beaches I suggest go to South Goa.

I visited in January. Route which I took closes in rainy season. There is another route which is open at start of rainy season i.e. till 15th June.
Sadly, water flow is so high that during that time no one is allowed to go.
If you want to get glimpse of waterfall in rainy then you should try to travel through train. In train’s route you get to see waterfall from a distance and later you actually go through waterfall, it is one mesmerizing experience.

Footloose Tribe. Thanks for the quick reply🙂. I heard that some peoples go by foot also on railway line from some distance and in another route a guide takes you on their bike and then through some jungle area you reach at this location.
It’s mainly not about rainy season but thing is we can see the milky of waterfall, the beautiful view.
Yes locals take you on bike but it is not official. Few of my friends has gone through that route and it was really amazing.

How's the trekking route?
How long will trek take?
Trekking route take around 1.5 hours. But it doesn’t take you to the water. It takes you to half height of the mountain. You can hire a guide who can take you on the trek. As far as I know trek needs permission from forest department.
All this info I have collected from the people near Dudhsagar waterfalls. I have not personally done the trek so not 100% sure about it.

If you travel by hiring a car then until last year cost was around ₹1700 round trip.
I recommend if you can rent a car and drive on your own, it will cost pretty less. Other way is through train that is much cheaper than traveling by hired car.

No there are no there is no specific place to keep bags. You can keep them near big stone. Haven’t heard any incidents of theft.

Already visited dudhsagar waterfall its a fabulous deatination for everyone but authority giving short time for waterfall only 1:30 hr to enjoy in waterfall after that back to kulem but its a wonderfull place go and enjoy atleast one time and u never forget it....

Well in May DudhSagar waterfalls is open but water level is low and it is too hot, so you might get exhausted.
I suggest you to plan it in between September to Feb.

U can plan in May, but make sure u reach dudhsagar taxi point early in the morning at 0800, so that u can reach Dudhsagar by 0900. So that i will finish b4 1100 and heat will b avoided

There are two routes. One I have shown in video and other one is through trek.
Through trekking you can reach to the railway bridge but not in water.

Dusdhsagar water falls is in Mollem stoppage in Bangalore-Belgum-Ponda Goa road I drop down Mollem before entering to ponda old Goa...really such a good trekking biggest waterfalls after jog, kunchinaka, meghalaya falls in India...must visit the mysterious Dusdhsagar Temple...
You have mentioned some amazing waterfalls. Dudhsagar waterfalls is must visit when you are in Goa. Mysterious temple which you mentioned is Tamdi Surla temple!! There is a small waterfall near that temple for which you need to do a small trek!! 🧡🧡🧡
Dudhsagar Is officially closed during monsoon but one can trek 12 one way to get their.

Yes, but plan your trip in such way that you reach Dudhsagar By 0900. otherwise it will become too hot in the afternoon.

Well Dudhsagar waterfalls remains closed in monsoon i.e. from July to August.
Later, it opens considering rains.
You can try to explore other places in Goa. If you wish to just see the waterfalls then you can take train ride.

We’ve been to Dudh Sagar just 3 days ago on our way back to Hyderabad from Goa. If we had skipped Dudh Sagar, our whole trip would be an utter flop show 😅 I want to go Dudh Sagar again and again ❤️

Route which I have shown in video remains closed in monsoons. Other trekking route is sometimes open, for trekking you need to take local guide as permission is needed for the trek. I have seen people who have done trekking in monsoon.

Me n my 2 school friends will visit gia in march 2nd week and much excited.About doodhsagar I have seen 2-3 videos where travellers have shown reaching doodhsagar by walk through railway lines almost 10 km.Guess they must be strong enough to walk such a long distance and through jungle.Will c what will I choose.

If you are in group then definitely dont miss Dudhsagar waterfalls. I suggest take the route which I have shown there you can enjoy a lot in water.
In case, you wish to do the trek then you can ask for local guide they will take you on trek.

If you start early reach by 9-9:30 am then you can complete your trip to Dudhsagar and reach back to Vasco. Airport is in Vasco.
I m frm Goa.Pls dnt drink & swim.Always wear life jackets eventhough ur good swimmer.Bware of high waves in sea shore.Pls follow th instructions given by th life guard especially in sea water.Do nt swim or bath where u see RED flags.Enjoy ur food,hve fun & go safely.

I visited In Jan and then in March. In March, water level goes down a bit but waterfalls has good amount of water. You can plan to visit in March just try to reach as early possible so that you can experience pleasant climate.

For low price train is best option.
You can go to Castle Rock station or Molem station to Madgaon and then take bus to Baga.

Well route which I have shown in the video remains closed during monsoon i.e. July and August. But I have seen few trekker groups planning treks towards Dudhsagar waterfalls. I can assure that in monsoon no one is allowed to go near waterfalls as water flow is too high, trek route leads towards top of the fall from where you can see the Dudhsagar waterfalls! Hope this information helps ☺️
