So good to see these guys together! Type-O was such a uniquely powerful and memorable band that strangely seems to influence me musically, more and more with time...and I even listen to them more now than years ago when they were in their prime. Cheers guys, thanks for what you did and BEST of luck!!
I watch this interview every other year. I´m so proud of Kenny struggling and winning to maintain his voice, while nowhere near to keep the emotion back. Watching this, I´, having running down hot streams my face every time, guess till I die. 12 years passed quickly, I guess they didn´t want to linger unneccessaryily long. I wish you guys had kept up with seventh void. You were making an excellant front man Kenny. And I wish you would team up with Josh again. I know I will come to NY some day and visit Pete´s resting place. In my thoughts, we´ll be there together.
I'm really happy that these two guys kept on shredding some RnR for all of us; actually, it's absolutely quintessential that Kenny mentions the humourous legacy - so to speak - because that was, say, 50% of the TON spirit. And that's wahy so many thousands miss the band in a very special way - as lively as their humour used to be, it makes them and Petrus live on and on. I'll sure keep an eye on 7V, though it's not the only thing left. Great attitude, guys!
Hey! EMBE here. Finally returning to my electronic roots with this new project called AUTOPSY CLUB. We will be releasing our first single called “The Oracle” on 3-21-22. Check it out!
Question Guys: Does anyone know where I can catch up on what Kenny Hickey, and Johnny Kelly has been up to these days? I especially havnt seen Kenny in forever and he's one of my favorite guitarists! I would really appreciate it if anyone knows anything at all thanks!!
Lacey Little Ghost i wonder if Silvertomb is a play on josh silver basically cutting ties with them. or has he? silver was such a huge part of TON sound and mod.
it must be hard as hell for these guys to do anything musical now. everything would remind them of Peter and the old days. i think that is why josh is doing his own ,not music, thing now. everything about peters death ,pisses me off. no one there to help him .
That was a cool interview.I don't understand what's going on with new material for Seventh Void's second album? In this interview they say they have to get going on writing for the second album for napalm records & I've heard that in other 7th Void interviews as well,& that's like almost 3 years ago now so I'm puzzled as to what's going on? Maybe Napalm Records & Kenny & Johnny had some issues? But when I e-mail back & forth with Johnny Kelly he just tells me their working on it.
I ran into Kenny on a subway few years ago. I thanked him for bringing all of us great music over the years, shook his hand, and exited the train.
Wow man Kenny really seemed at such a deep point in this interview... This dude was totally crushed..
poor Kenny, looks like he's about to burst into tears

Yeah that’s so true, Hickey’s voice is a close match to the late and great Chris Cornell.
"We were going to do the next Type O record on Napalm" damn.....
