    I have a 96 I want to do this to, do you have a materials list for your build? I've been researching and seem like you came up with a good setup!

    is that 60mph recorded worn GPS? mine starts to dolphin really bad after 55mph. needs trim tabs maybe

    Is it a lot to change the motor and what was the cost?

      oh yea, HUGE project. had to cut and paste two hulls together to get the pump/ motor geometry right for the new motor, so I wouldn't have to make a custom drive shaft. cost was an old boat, a newer donor ski, 1k in rebuilds parts, epoxy, lots of tool consumables and a TON of time. Had to even build a custom fuel tank. The whole process is documented on tree seadoo forum in the thread Challenger 4tec Upgrade

      so better to buy another boat and sell my boat. I wanted to out in a motorcycle motor.

      Well, you won't find a boat like this out there. the new ones are bigger and not as good looking imo. also, they got rid of the front seat. worst of all, there is no place for my 10" enclosed sub! I actually have seen one of these with a bike engine before. with that setup, you may not have to redo the pump tunnel or fuel tank, though I would recommend going with the 155mm pump for extra thrust. only thing to figure out is how to engage the driveline

      justin stephens when I started, neither did I. But there's no better reason to acquire both.

    changed the carbs out bigger carbs an chane the peller . im getting 60 out of my 96 seadoo challenger

    Turn you phone sideways next time :) Seems like its caveating like a bitch at the beginning was it hitting rev limiter?

      def bouncing off the stutter box. much of it I found is coming from the carbon seal, which is on order. also, this prop may be too tall. I bored my nozzle to 84mm and deleted the siphon tubes. we'll see if that helps. I may bore it further.
