    Omg This chair can be done easier with Fusion 360, Honestly Autocad is been purely for sketching plans... I find it so tedious fighting with the anchor points like if this was adobe illustrator. I'm not really sure if it worth it to learn this for 3D....

    It might be a stupid question but why one would choose to make a complex geometry model like this one in AUTOCAD as opposed to, for example, 3DS MAX (where it is more intuitive and has an integrated renderer)?

    • @sabeercad
      @sabeercad  10 лет назад

      Good question . In Autocad we can work fast without losing accuracy , but to achieve the same level of accuacy in 3dsmax you have to work more. That is why Autocad is considered to be an engineer's tool .

    btw how were you able to know what the exact dimensions were? were you just guessing the first time you made the 3d model or did you go through the trouble of measuring your actual chair?

    • @sabeercad
      @sabeercad  8 лет назад

      +Alex Yap If you are pretty good at proportions , you can guess the dimensions . Otherwise you should develop the patience to measure it physically using a ruler :)
