To this day this is still the best remix of this theme. While playing chap 1 back in 2018. This was definetly one of the moments that hyped me the most. Susie. Feeling betrayed by that whom she thought of as a friend enter a fight. She seems ruthless. That epic intense theme in the background sending chills through me. Not long after finishing the fight I went to RUclips to listen to the theme. And then I found this remix. A true masterpiece. Still stand out to this day.
Susie vs Lancer is my favorite part of this game, Toriel missing on purpose was heart touching but Lancer missing in the same way here was just so much harder to watch these two were each others only real friends and seeing Susie just rip into Lancer thinking that he genuinely didn't want to be her friend was heart breaking

World Revolving is fun and all, but this is easily the best track in Deltarune. It has so much tragedy and emotional weight to it, not to mention just being a killer bop of a tune. It's the same reason for why I always felt like Heartache was easily the most underrated boss theme in Undertale. Because you can just feel the emotion in the instruments, all without a word of lyrics. These two songs are the boss themes that make me cry. Vs. Susie starts off so angry and resentful, like Susie does in the fight. She's telling herself that Lancer is a backstabbing traitor, who she should get even with. She's taking out years of pent up anger, over being hated and isolated from everyone around her, all on poor, innocent Lancer. But the second verse is just desperate and heartbroken, as though Susie is just sobbing, mourning what she's doing to the one person that she was ever able to call a true friend.
Susie is seriously one of the most badass characters to come out of Toby Fox's work besides Undyne. She is a bit a reckless in delta rune, but she still posses the personality of a monster that strives to achieve their goal, whatever the cost. My favorite character so far.

This 'chapter' (or demo as Toby put it) seems to be oriented around susie's arc and payoff. She's a really interesting character that transcends the traditional bully who grows to like you, she seems to have had something happen to her in the past to make her feel like such an outsider, and lancer was the the only one who didn't make her feel alienated. The main fight theme of the game, rude buster, is also the name of her signature attack, which also points to this part of the story being based around her.
