Miss your game so much Aga 😥

I've never seen a sweeter champ. She didn't fall to the ground and put on a drama show like virtually everyone else or put on a rediculous display of bouncing around or dancing like the arrogant displays I've gotten used to seeing. She covered her mouth and quickly trotted to the net to shake hands. She is always so composed and classy. Made me want to cry seeing her reaction here. Go Aga!!! She's incredible, she's humble and no one else plays like her.

I don't know whether you're a professional tennis player who's played under the conditions that they have, but I'm going to assume that you're not.
You do not understand what the matches take out of them physically and mentally, and hence you think it a 'drama' or 'arrogant display' to dance around by oneself out of relief and happiness. It's not like they don't shake hands afterwards.. !
Try to be more tolerant of everyone's emotions ..

I’m intelligent enough to know the difference between a classy player and an arrogant one. Yes personality is a factor but my point is that Aga won the biggest event and match of her life and yet did so with humbleness. On the other hand, there are some winners who put on displays that are painful to watch.

MovieFan4Life I think that says more about your personality than the players you’re calling arrogant.
You know why I’m saying that? Because I feel happy to see the joy on a players face and if you actually find it disturbing then you’re the one with a problem.
Having said that, I do agree that Radwanska is very humble and I quite enjoyed her look of triumph.

Save the psychoanalysis. I have an opinion and am entitled to it. She’s really classy and I like that about her. I understand there’s a lot of emotions involved and I too enjoy seeing the joy on a champion’s face. I’m not saying there shouldn’t be a celebration. I am also intuitive enough to recognize a classy champ when I see one. Roger Federer for instance and Stefan Edberg were and are the epitome of class. I also didn’t call out or identify anyone in particular whom I felt was unclassy. Instead I gave the victor a sincere compliment yet you insulted me. Everyone is entitled to an opinion so I respect yours but your reply was a bit condescending and rude. Some people find Ostapenko a bit brash but I love her energy and confidence. I’ve also seen a few victors do things that are really unclassy from gestures to dancing and everything in between. I’ve watched thousands of matches my whole life, perhaps it’s possible I’ve seen more instances of poor sportsmanship. Believe me, it exists. :)

This is an oversimplification of human emotions. Aga is clearly not an outwardly expressive person and thus doesn't have a huge reaction to winning. Some players would have a bigger reaction to winning a point in the middle of the match than she had after winning. That is just the way she naturally is. Many people are naturally outwardly expressive of their emotions and thus naturally have big reactions to big moments. Doesn't mean they are trying to be dramatic or are showboating. Also I am not suggesting that their aren't players that are intentionally being over-dramatic either.

Momentum was definitely evident in this match. It just shows that top level tennis matches have a lot of it. But Radwanska was always consistent and kept the pressure on. Congrats#!

She would have, if she would have won against that flop of a finalist, Lisicki. 2013 Wimbledon was the year she could have done it.

Sooo proud of this GREAT lady from Poland.
AGA RADWANSKA broke my heart when she retired. What
    Craftsmanship of the game.
AGA is one of my TOP 5
    all-TIME players.
This game demonstrated her shot-making mastery. She could chisel points sooo AMAZING that she earned the RESPECT & Friendship of the QUEEN- SERENA. They loved playing each other. But the truth is that AGA RADWANSKA was herself in my book, ONE OF THE ALL-TIME GREATS & A BEAUTIFUL
    PERSON. MISS YOU AGA.
A TRUE fan since i 1st saw you step on to the court...Pure CLASS. 💖🕊🌹

At her best she was definitely a superior player than Ostapenko, Stephens, Andrescu and Kenin. Definitely she deserved to win one or two slams.

AGA giving Free lessons to Petra Kvitova?! AGGIE RADWANSKA IS AN ARTISTE, A SCULPTOR WITH A TRNNIS RACKET SHE USES LIKE A CHISEL TO MAKE MAGICAL UNBELIEVABLE UNIQUE SHOTS! I CALL HER ,"TINY DANCER," like the one in Elton John's song. Kvitova is a great player, but AGA HAS GRACED THE TENNIS COURT WITH CLASS & AN UNFORGETTABLE STYLE.
I KNEW WHEN I FIRST SAW HER STEP ON TO THE COURT THAT SHE WAS UNIQUE. URSULA, HER SISTER WASN'T TOO FAR BEHIND.
ONE THING PEOPLE DIDN'T GIVE AGA RADWANSKA THE GREAT CREDIT DUE HER. AFTER SERENA, VENUS, MONICA SELES, FOR ME COMES AGNIESKA RADWANSKA.
SHE DID POLAND PROUD. SHE WAS A TRUE COMEBACK QUEEN.
I WISH SHE WOULD COME BACK ALONG WITH SERENA. EHAT A HUMBLE SINGLE-MINDED CHAMPION. CON CARINO Y AMOR , ADIOS AGA.

Why is Aga not playing like this anymore? I can't understand. Radwanska is now the shadow of the "old" Radwanska. The Radwanska of this video is much much much faster and responsive that the actual Radwanska.
There are too many strong hitters. Tennis needs her. Let's hope the "magician" - or "professor" or "ninja or whatever you wanna call her - comes back soon

@@ricardogigante881 She had continuous problems with her foot, and couldn't move as fast as she needed on court. As far as I know from some interviews, the pain was usually so big that she wasn't able to run fast anymore. As her game based on court movement, she lost a big advantage.
It all started around 2017 and she wasn't able to recover.

Kvitova likes to punch the balls hard and fast, but radwanska's response just slowing the ball pace, slicing it or lob and dropshot. Kvitova got frustated, puzzled in court and book lot of unforce error.

  • @vsuman

Serena has won everything worth winning.
Leave her alone for there's no basis for comparison... I'm happy aga won something worth noticing in her career, because she's in the past now...surely with big hitters everywhere she can't win anything now... aga well done tho😎

This was a pretty anti climatic way to end the 2015 season but a good match nonetheless. It still proves that in order for ARad to shine, she needs the top opponents to be off that day. When Petra started to click, she was being blown off the court. Which also shows how up and and down Petra's game really is. She could've won this math but her game dipped when it really mattered.

well, aga beat muguruza in her best in the semi so, its obviously that petra had some problems to face aga her fitness , her exquisite technique, mental game , she deserved aga was better. if aga is on her way she has show she can beat big hitters , the only one who aga has no chance to win and we can apply what you have said is SERENA for aga is her nemesis.

I'm happy aga won something worth noticing in her career... today she will stand no chance with what's on wta tour these days...Hsieh su wei (sorry if I mispelt her name, ain't you lucky it's not 'hey su way' 😎) has taken over from aga and she's struggling to make an impact.... the 2015 wta title was some divine compensation for A/rad's effort at brilliance I'd say.
