Tirikoti family plays an orchestra with different mbira tunings that can be played together. The video is pointing at the Taireva Mbira Tune in the hands of Tirikoti himself; it is the lowest pitched in this arrangement and see the dexterity of Tirikoti's hands. Chihota iMhondoro hurusa.

I had the honour of spending time with Garikayi in Zim over twenty years ago, he made my Mbira’s and taught me many songs and I was very blessed to take part in ceremony 🙏 my heart burst open and there was much ancestral remembering and healing. When I returned to the western world I became distracted with other things and lost the original tapes of songs. The past few years I am reconnecting and relearning these wonderful songs and the healing they bring with them. . . thank you for sharing your wonderful teachings, they are so treasured by me. This family is something else,l surrender, l hope one day l would love to spend the day with them, how can l invite them to come and perform at cabeça de velho festival in chimoio. Garikyi loves Nyabango tuning.
