One of the greatest poets of all time Ravindranath Tagore has written the Indian national anthem...the first stanza has been accepted as the national anthem from his poem named ' Bharata Bhagya Vidhata' ( Dispenser of India's Destiny)
Did you know that the "Jana Gana Mana" was actually written by the great poet Rabindranath Tagore and was first sung by Sarala Devi Chowdhurani at the National Congress Session in 1911, Calcutta. The first stanza of the song was adopted by the Constitution Assembly in 24th Jan 1950 as the National Anthem.

And one thing that strings us together is being BHARATIYA. The ethos is so deep rooted and unshakable.

The hard working, selfless Army ready to sacrifice their lives for us, they are really our Saviour. Always get chills listening to our National Anthem, always proud being an Indian. Dunno why i also get tears in my eyes every single time i hear or sing it. Plus we always stand while it's playing or when we sing, as respect n pride for our country. Never get tired of listening to it. Until my 12th grade, I sang it almost everyday until I finished my school just like every other Indian n it definitely brings all kinds of emotions run in my veins. Love India. I have never heard another national anthem, where all the names of the states, regions, mountains, rivers within a country are mentioned within the national anthem itself ! 👍 Very similar to “This is my land” but that’s not the national anthem of USA, though I love the national anthem of USA too.
