Loved hearing about your process. I haven't been able to get out to shoot for some time now, but I have been thinking about slowing down. A fellow club member gave a talk a few nights ago, and he said that when he arrives at a location, he sets down all his gear, and spends a few minutes just looking around, seeing what possibilities the location might offer. John mentioned mowing lawns with the old reel-type mowers, and I have a photograph I would love to share with you guys. What's the best way to do that?
My comment keeps getting deleted, I think because I included my email address??? Bill, get out there! Get going! Take the first step, go out today for 1 hour! It takes a lot of energy to get the ball rolling, but little to keep it rolling.
Yes, sometimes you just go out and wander and sometimes you go out with a purpose. Which is better? I think at times, each is appropriate. But when I'm not working on a project, wandering is the way to go.
I’m sad my constant stalking didn’t even get me an honorable mention as an avid watcher. I blame Cole! Barb is a good friend though so I was glad to hear her mentioned. She’s an awesome human. I guess the Nature Photography Show doesn’t really roll off the tongue. Hello, my name is Jason and it’s a pleasure to virtually meet both of you… Well, John anyway.
Great video!! Beautiful images and really fun to hear your process!!
Thanks Suzanne!

That AI in Cole's phone is amazing when it comes to detecting John's presence!
AI, that's what it is!!!
I wonder what song John's AI wants to play when I'm near?
🤣🤣
Great watching you guys. Perfect length videos I can watch at lunch. Location name - Jesus on a stick, ha!
We don't mean to be irreverent with that title, but that's the way we remember it.
You're a wiener!
It is great seeing your thought process through the making of an image. Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
The great Brooks also spoke recently about photography by wandering around. Just keep your eyes and mind open. Eg Cole’s dunes picture.

Hahahaha! I’m just happy you read my comments! It’s all good.
@@jasoneldridgephotography - I don't read any of them, not after all of your kissing up to John!
Just between you and me Cole, you have much better hair.
