E-YOOSO Z-686 65% Keyboard Review

In this review, I'll be taking a deep dive into the YOOSO Z-686 Wired Mechanical Keyboard, a budget-friendly option that has truly impressed me over the past year and a half.
The Z-686 comes with clicky blue switches and boasts a compact 68-key layout. Priced under $30, it’s an affordable, hot-swappable keyboard that checks all the boxes for both functionality and customization.
One of the standout features of this keyboard is its hot-swappable nature, which allowed me to easily switch the stock switches with Akko V3 Cream Blue switches. I also replaced the keycaps, transforming the feel and performance of the keyboard to a whole new level. The modifications cost me around $52 in total, which is still a fraction of the price of many high-end mechanical keyboards on the market.
If you’re considering spending hundreds of dollars on a mechanical keyboard, I highly recommend giving the YOOSO Z-686 a try first. With a little customization, it offers a premium typing experience without breaking the bank.
