Good informative Video again. I think a lot of people that get Motion rigs need to be informed that regular at least once a month even weekly checks on all the bolts and moving parts is essential not just to ensure a great experience but to avoid rig failure and at very least putting the rig out of action while getting new bolts or even another part but worst case to prevent an accident and severe damage to the rig or worse yourself or others in the room at the time!
These motion rigs no matter what you have are literally throwing at least about 200Kgs (and that's the lighter versions) and some nearly 500kg about at high speed and vibrating for haptic feedback both of which are not exactly good things for keeping bolts tight and will need checking and maintained.

@nemisis_wolf Yea, it's easy to forget or just simply not know how dangerous these machines can be. I had seen a video online of a chaps 6DOF rig fully collapse and fall over in him 😬, his accident was due to the software parameters being to aggressive. Thanks for watching and the comments as always mate 😁

Pro tip for you. Instead of clicking the sliders which can cause huge instant jolts if you go too quickly, click the slider, then use the left or right arrow keys on the keyboard. Just hold the arrow key down and it is a slow smooth gradual motion with no jolts. You can instantly see which direction things are going. Hope this helps. Great videos btw. 😀

Mate that is a fantastic tip, thank you. I would never have guessed to do that. See this is why these sort of videos are so good, we get to share the good stuff and then we all benefit. Thanks for watching mate and appreciate the comments. :)

Thanks for tips for servicing, the way i get the legs off the ground is by raising the rig like you did with heave, then sliding two thick planks under the frame then lower the rig so the frame is sitting on the planks. Then the legs are now off the ground and easy to service.
