Everytime one of these comes out I want to pick up the manga again and re read, it's just that incredible! Jonochi-centric chapters really hit different in multiple ways and I agree! Takahashi's pace and panelling is something else!

This honestly makes me wish they had kept yo-yos as a threatening thing in this world. Pegasus with a millenium Yo-yo instead of eye? Kaiba creating a high-tech yo-yo? Dark Magician having a special yo-yo summon?! SIGN ME UP. The parallel reality where the story is called "Yo-Yo-Oh" instead is a WILD one 😮
Yoyo weapons and Jonouchi being amazing as always, just makes me love the early manga sooo much!
It’s always nice to see more Yu-Gi-Oh content! I’m still reading the manga, and it’s very interesting! Reading it as well as watching your videos on it are really making me tempted to re-watch the Anime. It’s been quite some time since I last watched it. I miss playing the card game though, I did that in very early grade school, and me, my brother, and our friends had such a good time playing it. That was about 20 years ago, but damn… such fun times.
With you being such a yugioh fan, do you think you would get the millennium puzzle model kit and put it together?

Yeesh! This is about a card game, right? How the hell do they manage to make stuff like this while making it about a card game?
It wasn't always that way! "Yu-Gi-Oh" (遊☆戯☆王) literally means "king of games," and initially the series had a new game practically every chapter. The card game was originally a reference to Magic the Gathering, but eventually overtook the series due to its popularity (or so the official story goes).

...as they go into some of the story behind Yu-Gi-Oh's creation, as well as what the story was actually based on in terms of real Egyptian history. This stuff completely blew me away when I first learned about it!
