The campus is served by 1 n-s interstate highway and 2 E-W interstate highways that connect at Straussburg (55 miles to the north) and Staunton I believe (25 miles to the South). It's on I-81 which is the same place for Bristol, Roanoke, Radford, Wincheester, Marion, and Blacksburg

Damn, it looks like you guys redesigned maybe a third of the campus since I graduated 15 years ago. How much money did you waste unnecessarily demolishing and recreating buildings to make them look just a little shinier? I wish that the students took seriously the "Harrisonburg has a lot to do" idea but sadly a lot of them just stick to the housing communities around campus and never venture to the city of anything. Hopefully, it's a little bit of a bubble since I was there
