That’s not an ‘89. They restyled the front end for 1989. That’s an ‘88 at the newest.

That’s an 84 - 88 body and seeing that it has a carbureted 2.8 means 85 or older.
Are you sure this is an 1989? Looks more 85-86?
How can you tell? What are some of the hints you notice to say that? I have a 1984 Bronco II, besides wheel and interior what are some other observations?
Well in 1989 the Ranger and Bronco II got a different headlight and grill treatment, the interior got different door panels and dashboard. The V6 badge was usually with the 2.8 V6 available 84,85 . The engine showed a carburetor which was only on the 2.8 not the later 2.9 plus the gages didn't have the tachometer which wasn't available on early models but standard on later ones.
