I-285 & SR400 Reconstruction project

The I-285/SR 400 Interchange Improvement Project will improve 4.3 miles of I-285 from west of Roswell Road to east of Ashford-Dunwoody Road and 6.2 miles along SR400 highway from the Glenridge Connector to Spalding Drive. The Improvements include eastbound and westbound collector-distributor lanes on I-285 and northbound and southbound collector-distributer lanes on SR 400.

CD lane system is my favorite interchange for interstate 285 and Georgia 400.

to this day 10/21/2021 still construction and long delays , Why are we still sitting in traffic for 1 hr and 45 min ?

Only 2 lanes southbound on 400 going over 285 during phase 3 - 5. Should make morning rush hour interesting.

FZ if you look closely, the existing configuration only had two lanes that go straight over 285 which are middle two. The far right one is an exit only for 400 S to 285 E ramp. And the other that joins on the far left comes from the 285 W to 400 S ramp. At phase 3 the new flyover ramp will be opened for 400 S to 285 E leaving no use for the existing far right lane.

North and South of ga 400 is going under interstate 285.

Ga 400 South won't be over interstate 285 anymore we want north and south go under interstate 285.
