Hey! This is pretty cool. I was going along with the guide and realized a lot of my better factions actually had all these steps figured out already. I'm planning to use this to help bolster some of my less well liked factions. Very well presented
Lovely stuff, its videos like this that RUclipsrs who care about quality should try and emulate - no obnoxious opening scene, no rambling introduction worth 1/6 of the video's run time, a practical example... Throw in some chapter markers Jbat and you've got it nailed!
This is great! Instantly subscribed. Hidden gem channel. The big hat reminds me of the Roman connection between purple and royalty (but now hat bigness - a more measurable quality as well!) merged with leadership passing through trial by combat trope. Perfect combination of realistic and outlandish that makes it memorable but also easy to see how it could be applicable to a serious worldbuilding project. Love that it immediately brings to mind the possibility of a faux pas as well, with a player (D&D) walking in with that country's version of a 'bigger hat' and having to puzzle out why everyone finds them so interesting, amusing, and gauche. And why this person has asked if they're here to challenge the king. Gem deserves to be less hidden. :D
This method makes a very specific vibe. It's worth specifying that if you want a more "down to earth" atmosphere or if you want to specifically the drama between the factions be the main thing - you may want to use something other.

This was exactly the video I needed to see today!
A really clear and memorable guide, nice stuff!
Well, I'm not going to forget any of that absurdity any time soon and I've been reading Discworld! Nearly read all of them in fact!
I've gotta read those someday. They sound like a lot of fun!
Awesome video! So glad this popped up in my recommended

I thought this mfr was wearing a dirty monk hood.
