I'm in Seattle and live 12 miles from the Filson flagship store. I really visit them too much.
Btw, although items sell out online, you can still find many items at the individual stores (Seattle, Portland, New York, etc.) Give them a call, they ship for free.

You don’t. The smell is part of the appeal. If you don’t like the smell, tin cloth ( or a Barbour waxed coat ) is not for you ( and that’s ok too ).
