His bass lines are always incredible. The guy is a bass god. Plays it like a rhythm, slaps it like a bass.
Bassline nice, but hardly incredible. Also plays with a pick so I don't see any slap happening.

Future Islands is the only band that sends chills up and down my spine. I also cried like a baby at their live show. It was amazing.
I definitely was in tears during their virtual show they did the other day but I also laughed,smiled and danced my ass off. Hope you did the same ✌️♥️

I LOVE FUTURE ISLANDS. One of the most unique voices in the last 20 years--hearkens back to the "crooner" voices of Bryan Ferry and Jim Morrison. No one can copy this unique voice, and musically it's just great. .

Sounds magic, can't wait for the new album. Was lucky enough to see them last year in Aberdeen in the UK. Best concert I have ever been at. Don't know where all the energy comes from. Not many bands sound even better live, Future Islands is definitely one. All the best whith your new album...
The Aberdeen gig was incredible, so much energy, I was buzzing after. Saw them in Edinburgh for the next show which was excellent but not as fun haha

The first note sounds very much like Taylor Dayne’s Tell It to My Heart song opening note…the Converse shoes worn by the two male dancers in Tell it to My Heart are also worn by the two small brains at 1:50…not sure if this was an homage to Taylor Dayne or just a coincidence. Regardless , I love Future Islands and this incredible video

The nuclear holocaust images that appear behind the character, when the chorus reaches the first "I have a sinking feeling, I know why", are quite disturbing if we take into consideration how things are nowadays, possibly the closer we've ever came to WW3 and nuclear annihilation.
