I know to most people, they see an old decrept building being torn down in Detroit but to me, I see flashbacks to people who went to work in that building everyday that came from those very homes that are abandoned. They came to make a days of living expenses and people dressed so different for work, yes, times were so different then, so for me, yes, I am sort of sad to see it finally go. They were such different times back then and the building is giving it's last fight all the way to the end. Anyways, Thanks for continually showing us Frankai and Happy Holidays to you. 😉🌲
I totally agreed with you. Seeing these very old factories being torn down is indeed sad. We're losing apart of Americana. I also think about all the people who worked there so long ago. Their jobs put food on the table and a roof over the heads of their families. While I'm nostalgic about these things, I'm also a realist as well. This factory was very old and paid for itself long ago. It was outdated. Since it couldn't be reconfigured into something else and was falling apart after being abandoned for 70 years, it had to be demolished. Hopefully they can keep the one remaining section intact and remodel it for living or offices as a reminder of days past.
Thank you for taking the time to record and post this. Sad that it takes so long to clean up the mess in Detroit. I am all for preservation, but this was too far gone.

Stood right there a week ago for pictures.
How many of you think that the part being "saved" will be torn down in the future ?
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👋👋
Is any attempt made to salvage any of the building materials from a demolition like this? I see LOTS of bricks that could be reused to build houses.
I think February is when it will be gone.
