You belong with the rare group of people who also show the down-sides of reality, not just the shiny surface. Thank you for trying to raise awareness, not only for the beautiful, but also the ugly sides of life. Tanti saluti, Marina 😊🌺🙏
Ciao Marina, thank you very much for watching and commenting our videos. As you may know, we really care about being as real and realistic as possible. Sometimes our cameras are off, or we can't make videos for whatever reason, and we lose some little parts of what we are living, of what happens, and what we see/experience. But we try as much as we can to give you the real experience as you would have been there with us. ❤🙏👍😊
It is a shame that such beautiful places are littered with plastic garbage. I was glad to see recently that the United Nations has put forth a legally binding framework for reducing plastic garbage. As a citizen of the United States I am saddened and ashamed that my country was one of the few that didn't sign on. Thank you for the beautiful footage of the pink flamingos!!! They truly ate a amazing bird! And thank you for bringing awareness to the problem of plastic. If we all started filling our own SS water bottles, and bringing our own canvas shopping bags, and bring our own coffee cups to our local coffee shops, it would make suck a big difference. How did we survive before plastic? Very well!
Yes, we all should start doing something as you say. Non single use plastic bottles are just an example, plastic straws are not needed etc etc Saving the planet sounds huge doesn’t it? And in essence, it is. But there are many simple ways we can do our bit to help. BECAUSE SIMPLE THINGS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Thanks for watching!
That poor cow...I love animals so much and it hurts my heart to see any animal living in that condition. Thank you for raising awareness!! Loved the flamingos!!
Hey Shelby, thank you for watching and commenting. We love animals and many times we have seen horrible things around the world going on so we really want to raise awareness from now on. ❤🙏
Sara and Luca, I posted this one to my Facebook page. I cried for the beauty of flamingos but ached for the environmental tragedy behind the scenes. This is why your truck is the greatest. See beyond what tourists are shown. The hungry dogs hurt me. There are so many starving dogs everywhere in all the vanlife channels in Mexico. I hope you get more subscribers.
Dear Beverly thank you so much for sharing our video to your FB page. We hope to be able one day to drive an electric vehicle and to start programs to help people and animals all around this beautiful world. Thank you for your support Beverly!!
I hope someone in Mexico who is responsible for the disposal of this trash sees this video, thank you for raising awareness. That poor cow, it is so neglected.
Hey Mike, thank you very much for watching and commenting. We will keep learning and trying to improve. Sometimes, depending on where we are, is really hard to work on the editing. We hope to be able to afford new gears to be able to upgrade the quality. Stay tuned! 🙏❤😊👍😉👋
@@leaw you have a great eye for cinematic shots and a good way with the story - especially considering English isn't your first language. My wife's first language isn't English, so I understand the difficulty of expressing nuances and abstractions. And yet your stories always have such a genuine, human touch. I think most people have never edited several hours of video into 10 or 15 minutes of content. It often takes hours to do so. My own channel doesn't have any content as of yet, but I have hundreds of hours of raw footage I haven't been able to sit down and edit into anything. Maybe when I get done with the attic remodel or the van build or the garage restoration... Or when I retire, LOL. Love your stuff, be well!
Thank you Mike! We really appreciate your words, coming from someone who knows our difficulties. Most people give many things you have said for granted. New video just uploaded. 🙏❤😊👍😉👋
Thank you so much Mike, we love to share the reality with you and to spread awareness. We all need to feel responsible and to do something. Thanks for watching!
This place seem beautiful. But at the same time there's garbage disposal and this is dangerous for those poor birds. I hope the authority will do something to clean it up and make it safe for those flamingos
I love your videos and enjoy watching the journey. For me it would be difficult traveling to Mexico and would have to travel with bags of dog food to feed the stray and neglected dogs. I couldn't eat without sharing with them. Happy travels, be safe. You do a wonderful job editing and the music you attach is perfect. Much love Sara & Luca
... thanks for the puppy view - for sure they were happy for your contributions ;-) were they real friendly? were there any dogs at the dump? Cheers ~ S
Thank you Steve. They were really happy and friendly dogs. We didn't see dogs at the dump but we stay few minutes because the air was unbreathable. Ciao!!
Good morning! =) We try to do the same wherever we go. We only have this Planet, we don't have Planet B. Things we always do but not always show: ruclips.net/video/za9NqLmSoXk/видео.html
The flamingos were magnificent! ❤ It's so sad about all the trash around the sanctuary, hopefully that will improve soon 🤞 Today I have been removing the broken plastic coating from a clothes drying rack, while binge watching your videos. It's taking ages, but I will paint it afterwards and use it again, instead of buying a new one. It's worth the time taken to recondition and reuse, to upcycle and recycle whatever we can, to help the planet 🌏 💚
I share your video with the state goverment of Yucatan, the federal secretary of tourism and the secretary of environment. Its a shame the conditions of that place. The dogs known where the good food is!!! Jajaja 🐶🐕🐩🍕
Thank you so much Francisco. We were shocked when we arrived at the Biosphere. That day was very windy and the air was unbreathable. Most of the tourists don't see what is happening because they go on the boat tour to see the flamingos, just few people drive across the reserve. Please let us know if someone will answer to your message. thank you
The flamingos were amazing, but we didn't sleep there because the air was unbreathable. Right now we don't because we recorded this video some weeks ago, but should be sunny and hot! thanks for watching
@@leaw I was wondering why you were back tracking, lol. You should put the date the video was recorded in your main comments so everyone will know what time of the year it was recorded.
I go to Celestun often but don't recognize the road your traveling on. Is it near the bridge that has the boat trips when entering Celestun or further down the road?
Someone is probably getting paid to haul that garbage away. So they pick a reserve to burn it. Sad. I’m conflicted with the drone footage of the flamingos as they have to expend energy while in flight. I know you would be/are respectful of nature. It’s sad to see stray animals. Definitely an issue in most of the world.

So, did you feed the pups? Beautiful birds but too bad the area around it is allowed to be garbage.
