you don't sound superficial talking about the cover for Royals! the vibes coming from a cover can really influence the perceptions you have about a book before you read it and even *while* you're reading it (at least for me) so i had the same experience with Royals/Prince Charming! i read Her Royal Highness recently and it made me want to give Prince Charming a chance :)
Im literally the opposite of hailey. Im kind of in a slump. Bcs of the slump i find it really hard to start a new story, like i rather read the next book in a series than a completely new book
Rachel Mendes i can relate lol, I read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, and that got me out of my reading slump, if your interested, or Shatter me by Tahereh Mafi, that got me interested in dystopian
Bri is definitely such an interesting character to read about in On The Come Up! I love how her and Starr are like opposites and contrast with each other!
I absolutely LOVED Thunderhead and can’t wait for The Toll to be released!! I feel like the story line is extremely unique compared to other dystopian books. I love how real you always are in your videos Hailey, you are beautiful inside and out!!💕
I'm loving all the recognition Neal is getting at the moment :') he's my favourite author and the love for Sythe and Thunderhead make me so happy 😄 his stories are so unique, chilling, wonderfully written, entertaining, I'm gushing again aren't I? Xx I'll have to check out your channel Emma 😊
Thunderhead’s ending was immense. It introduced my jaw to the floor. I neeeeeed ‘The Toll’ right now! My video is going up tomorrow and spoiler alert, I had the same answer for newest release and most anticipated. 😂
I’ve been reading more and I’d love to give some of that credit to you because I love your channel and it’s nice to know that even people who read a lot don’t finish everything they start and they don’t like every book they read, a really refreshing mindset 💜
*I'm so glad I keep seeing positive feedback for Daisy Jones. It doesn't sound like it would be up my alley based on the synopsis alone, but I felt the same about Evelyn Hugo and really liked it so I'm hoping it'll hit a spot for me. I've got the audio book on hold from Libby so should be starting soon!*
Booktube makes me want to branch out and read Daisy Jones, it’s defiantly not a book that I’d hear about and gravitate towards but I’m down to branch out all the raving about it is making me want to read it. It sounds extremely interesting especially with the way it’s set out.
I'm going to have to check out your review of, 'Daisy Jones and the Sixth.' I've heard lots of people talk about it, but it doesn't seem very interesting to me so I want to see why everyone loves it so much!
Hi, I don't mean to sound sensitive, but you (as well as other BookTubers) have mentioned in so many videos/livestreams that the audiobook is 100% the way to go for some books. Please keep in mind not everyone (including myself) is able to listen to audiobooks. It's not a huge to do and I don't take any personal offense, but it would be nice to see more inclusion of people with disabilities in the BookTube community. Sorry wow hopefully that didn't come off as harsh. Love you & your content!
this is so random, but i LOVE your choker what the heck, i don’t even wear them but yours is so cute! also i totally 100% judge a book by its cover. COVERS ARE SO IMPORTANT!
My goal was 20 books this year and I’m already halfway!! I’m currently reading the song of Achilles and it’s like the best slow burn where I know it’ll ignite my heart by the end.
My reading year sounds the same... i dnf books to and i‘ve become more picky too... I‘m working in a bookstore it‘s not that easy anymore to find good books that blow my mind
I really liked Sorcery of Thorns, there is a romance in it, so that helped propel me through the story, and it reminded me of old school fantasy, like "Ella Enchanted" and "Howl's Moving Castle"
I've been the exact opposite of you this year. I've reignited my love of reading after a far too long slump, and I've been persevering with books instead of DNFing, which I have never done before. Ellen
Daisy Jones and the Six sounds really good and I'm SO excited to read it OMG I knew With the Fire on High was gorgeous but apparently I didn't know to what extent!
I could not understand Gilded Wolves either. I gave up after a chapter or 2. Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was one of my favourite books I read in the past year!
I love this tag ❤ wish I had time to do it this year, totally slipped my mind! I'm no where near as many books as last year so far lol oh well. Great video Hailey 😊
so funny that you loved Daisy Jones and the Six but didn't love Evelyn Hugo haha it was the exact opposite for me ! I was so excited for Daisy Jones because I love rock n roll and generally I can watch a bunch of cliché rock n roll movies without getting bored of them even if they are predictable but I don't know, it kind of fell short for me. I think the interview format was cool but made me feel removed from the characters in a way and just not as involved as I wanted to be
i fuckin love radio silence and all of alice oseman's books. i hope you try out her other books in the future (she's one of my favorite authors at this point and i love her stories so much)
If I did this tag it would legit be 2 mins. Cus I’ve legit only read 2 books this year. TWO. I love reading I really do but I can never sit down and just read a book. I always get around 100 pages in and then I just give up for some reason. There are books I started a year ago that I never finished. Shame, I know.
Try to watch quite a few of your videos to find out but couldn’t I was wondering if you have ever read after by Anna Todd it was originally fan fic chapters that were posted on Wattpad but has recently this year be made into a movie and the book was released in March last year I think if you could give it a read and let us know what you think of it that would be amazing I am obsessed with the movie and I’m currently nearly finished with the book which I thoroughly enjoyed
Freakout? I've only read about 20% of the books on my 2019 TBR list. I've been super unmotivated to read, and I'm having a hard time finding all the books I want to read. (considering I can't actually afford to just purchase every book I'm interested in reading, and my local library selection sucks). It sucks watching all these booktube videos, and yet not having access to any of these books.

Thank you for making me feel like less of an ass 💜
I know when I see a book with a person in a dramatic pose (not a drawn person, one of those photograph covers) i instantly have a distaste for it.
"I'm just dark inside. You'll find nothing in there." 😂😂😂 Honestly, same. 🖤
Really wished I worked at the bookstore that you do. Really want more books but alas, I have no money. 💀🙄
Chelsey Humphries When I see them with like 5 bookshelves it makes me sad..
@@travisminger9529 oh please you won't love every single book in that 5 book shelves
Sharifa shahsahen I mean that I can’t afford to have 5 bookshelves full of books that I like..
I just go to the library

@@isabellelovesbooks Thanks!
mimi diani you’re welcome!!!
Me too 😂😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Can't stop looking at Hailey's lipstick and choker and embroidered top. 😍
“I’ve read 39 books so far this year”
...oh
Well...
I’ve read 4...
...my goal for this year is 12...
Okay... that’s fine
that choker!! your makeup!!! your hair!!!!!! angelic

You always look so pretty!! ❤️❤️
Thanks so much! 💜
No I totally get it! The original cover for Royals looked like something I would see at the scholastic book fair when I was in elementary school.
Booktube makes me want to branch out and read Daisy Jones, it’s defiantly not a book that I’d hear about and gravitate towards but I’m down to branch out all the raving about it is making me want to read it. It sounds extremely interesting especially with the way it’s set out.
I just got A Sorcery of Thorns and I'm so excited to start it! Magical libraries? heck yes!
Yeeeeeeah Daisy Jones is also my favourite of the year so far
Thunderhead was amazing!!!! And also did you like it more than scythe (I did). And thank-you for your prince charming recommendation I loved it.
me too. i enjoyed thunderhead more than scythe and i LOVED these books so much
I'm going to have to check out your review of, 'Daisy Jones and the Sixth.' I've heard lots of people talk about it, but it doesn't seem very interesting to me so I want to see why everyone loves it so much!
I really liked Prince Charming and I’m SO happy they changed that cover.
I read the radio silence because the bookmarked girls were talking about it. Thaaaanksss! It's an amazing book.
love love loved josh and hazel’s guide to not dating!
I'm super excited that Queen of Nothing by Holly Black is being released on November 19th instead of January 2020!!
You're looking so pretty!!!!😍❤🌸
Thank you!! 🥰

Totally with you on Prince Charming (Royals). The book cover is so important to me, if it is not nice I am not reading the book no way !!
Sorcery of Thorns is so good! I hope you enjoy it! Also, totally feel you about that Royals to Prince Charming covers!
Your mid year freakout takes is hella interesting and fun to watch!
My goal was 20 books this year and I’m already halfway!! I’m currently reading the song of Achilles and it’s like the best slow burn where I know it’ll ignite my heart by the end.
I believe that your recommendations and vlogs or tags , everything makes the viewers pick something or the other . Love your vlog ... 🌻
My reading year sounds the same... i dnf books to and i‘ve become more picky too... I‘m working in a bookstore it‘s not that easy anymore to find good books that blow my mind
Watching your videos makes me want to read more and remind me how much I enjoy reading Hailey you need to read an unwanted guest!
OOO YES LOVE DAISY! I just got an arc of Ninth House and IM SO EXCITED
It always makes me so happy when someone talks about Radio Silence
I really liked Sorcery of Thorns, there is a romance in it, so that helped propel me through the story, and it reminded me of old school fantasy, like "Ella Enchanted" and "Howl's Moving Castle"

Such a fun tag! I hope the second half of your reading year is wonderful!
With the fire on high...that cover looks delicious!!!

These all sound sooo good! I haven't read prince charming yet, but I really want to now!
These are my favorite videos to watch and I can't wait to make one myself. I'm glad you found time to film this this year.
Me too! I haven't got to it yet though. I hope you manage to make one, I love this tag. If you do I'll come watch it :)
@@booksandbrushes4868 I don't have my schedule in front of me, but I'm pretty sure mine is scheduled to go up on July 10th.
Thunderhead is definitely *WILD*. Those last 50 pages had me completely shook.
Your jawline has knocked me off of my chair oml

Loved the video!!! And damn your hair is thriving 😍
I'm so relieved to know that I'm not the only one that doesn't cry over books. Dark Hearts Club for the win, lol.
I want to read the scythe book series so much. So much to read too little time! Great video!
I love when you post but I’m also glad you’re taking care of yourself. Thanks for making my night with a video girly 💕

Looking forward to Ninth House as well!

one of my favourite tags 💕 love this ^^
I'm behind on my reading challenge and it's making me so anxious and stressed 😅 I. Can't. Fail.

Lmao "what a superficial bitch" ME. THIS IS ME. Covers are IMPORTANT AS HECK. Lmao
My biggest disappointment was The Bear and The Nightingale
I'm currently reading Sorcery of Thorns and so far it's soooooo good

There were elements that were off for sure (seven husbands).
I’d love to know your opinion on cotton padded book sleeves? And also plastic book jackets?
Same on gilded wolves. I finished it but was so confused still. Its pretty but I had to get rid of the book.
Is your hair naturally curly?
I am so far behind my goal 😔🤙
Same 😂 I've aimed for 100 and I'm only on my 32nd book 😂
@@ruthsamworth5077 I wish I could read that much... I only finished like 8 books. I have too many reading slumps.
Your videos are fantastic 😙 I have one question for you: Did you read Fredrik Bakman's book???
Hey you should do a review on the missing series by margaret peterson haddix. I love the series and it's just a really all around great book series.
the cover on her royal highness looks like hailey.
You look amazing 💕
I strongly disliked The Royals/Prince Charming, and I only bought it for the original bright pink cover. No shame. XD
