Thank you @bigwillrosario for making this a True, Deep House Classic for many of us in the 90's ! This track inspired us so much, once again...Thank You....Peace from NYC !
@bigwillrosario This track really changed my life, baby. It was passed to me on a mixtape when I was 13 years old from an older clubkid who was hangin with the DJ from the club. I felt when I heard this track that someone had finally made music that I could relate to--like this was made just for me! Within 6 months of hearing this, I had a hustled a job at the club so I would have scratch to buy tables and vinyl. You converted me into a lifelong Househead! Thank you, baby!xo
i never conciously liked the music becuase i was born in 88 and as a child you dont judge music like a trained listener you just like it because the music as ONE gives you happiness so today i subconciously have the influence of house back then which is driving my emotions so deep i cant explain why am i crazy?
Mesmerising keys, classic beats, nice working b-line, amazing. Evokes all kinda feelin'. Would love to know what they were using. Awesome stuff when you listen again after so long. Track was always a headturner, ears prick up kinda thing. Brilliant track. Thanks for posting.
Man, when I hear this tune it makes me think about that movie Cool World! I love when the person in the background says, "I wanna feel the music!" This is the type of stuff you and your hottie (in a tight white skirt) can bump to on the dance floor. Keep up the good work electroislove!
Hey I remember a house music track that sampled "feel the music" and "movin nonstop" BOTH voice samples were female. It had a piano solo in it and was uptempo. I can not find it anywhere. The track was on a cassette that I had taken from me. Does anyone know the name of that track ? When I heard the voice on here I recognized it immediately. Please tell me if anyone knows that track. I love this song by the way.
You can find something similiar to this song that Andrew and I did...go to traxsource and put one of our names in the search.... Thanks for all the comments...We really appreciate it...
PLEEEEEZ GIVE US THE A-SIDE (which is now considered the B-Side) TO THIS RECORD?? THE OLDER GURLS DON'T KNOW HOW TO POST VID'S, BUT OUR NEEDS ARE DEEP AND THEY'RE REAL! It starts, "Work that body, move that body..." (This was the "come down mix" after a girl had made it outta Tha Cut with her purse and hair intact, yeah! But the original mix was not about chillin'... It was about getting ready to go out at 7:00 AM on a Wednesday and stuff and stuff. And that was GOOOOOOOD!"
Luv this song. 1st heard back in 1991 back east on a trip. Actually 1st time I heard house music....good memories.
