+Potato Person There's not really a "wrong" way to play one necessarily. They're so versatile and offered in so many different styles they're really just an all around cymbal. Why do you think so many drummers get by with just a ride and hi-hats?
+Potato Person some drummers really dont explore the variety od sound of a ride cymbal, but sometimes its only a choice, Eric chon and Lars dont have an ride cymbal

I could watch this all day, and I'm not even a drummer. Just looks like he is "levitating" through it.
Stays in the pocket and only comes out to do something tasty. Tons of feel and groove. WAY under rated drummer. His technique is wonderful and you can see that formal education come through in his playing. A drummer's drummer.

The Cymbal nearest to the camera has a really interesting sound. Especially because it seems like the decay is super short, but that might be due to repetitive hits.

The sound waves are being projected away from the camera when the cymbal is tilted away from it (when he hits it). So you only get the attack and none of the sustain of the cymbal.

I somewhat disagree, if you're going to be crashing on the edge of a cymbal almost exclusively, why not mount them flat? Though I do somewhat agree with the toms I've seen drummers who mount them perfectly flat and hit the rim too frequently, one drummer I seen had his toms set low and tilted away from him, that was pretty unique and he could play.
My toms are only slightly tilted towards me, and my cymbals but my ride and snare are slightly tilted away.
When people refer to them as Killswitch I have no idea who they’re talking about.
