Speak for yourself-I’d personally like to work for the betterment of the world. And I’m tired of the stereotype that we’re spooky, mysterious, robotic psychopaths with no conscience.
That's not the INTJ at all plus we can't confuse personality facets with cognition. The INTJ is an NiFi convergent type, a limbic existential type they're actually the most in touch with the depths of the mind, not darkness rather other types can experience NiFi as an existential crisis or the void. I'd check out Cognitive Personality Theory for clarification. This isn't a strategic type as the video would suggest: that mantle rather goes to the ENFJ, ENTJ & ESTJ. ENFJs are called master chess players in CPT for a reason, that TiNi divergence can see all eventualities & possibilities. I stand among them. The only thing that stops ENFJs is that they don't necessarily have the FiNi drive like their ENTJ cousins albeit the ENTJ will struggle with seeing all the eventualities owing to the lack of TiNi divergence. What you're describing is more reminiscent therefore of a more Machiavellian ENFJ. Unfortunately MBTI paints out like Fe is this harmonising function - it isn't, it's incredibly serious & purposeful. Ironically Hannibal in this video is an ENFJ, Baelish an ESTP etc.
Whilst I don't agree with all the typings for example Hannibal is an ENFJ, V an ISTJ & Baelish an ENTJ (I realise you took this from the PDB) the fundamental 'essence' of this video captures Ni-Fi convergence (CPT) in a way few have comprehended which is incredible. The choice of music is very fitting as well. Fantastic video!😊
He's actually an ESTP in cognitive personality theory. It takes the constancy of divergent NiTi, akin to the matrix, to view the world in a very probabilistic manner. At least Conrad Doyle's Sherlock is an ESTP like himself. Also note in Jungian theory extroversion & introversion don't refer to how social one is but rather how they primarily take in information. Note Sherlock is also Asperger's not a high functioning sociopath as the character states: the show runners made this clear. INTPs are rather TiSi concrete sequential logicians - this isn't the cognitive style Sherlock primarily employs. There will be some usage however as ESTP is a close network to the INTP in CPT theory as both are yin type. The real strategic types are the ENFJ & ESTJ with that TiNi constancy (divergence) that the ENFJ has consciously & the ESTJ dips into. ENFJs are called master chess players in CPT for a reason, of which I stand among their numbers - far from the airy fairy type we're made out to be, in fact we're incredibly serious. Hannibal here is in fact an ENFJ (there's not INTJs in this video in fact there's many ISFPs, an ENFJ, an INTP in Walter, Baelish is an ESTP etc).
@@AnyaAnnika67 this comment just seems like a collection of tangents.. I have no clue what to respond with, I don't wanna say it's wrong, because obviously, I don't know everything about personality types. Though I do know the "I and E are not how social one is" part. Personally, I think he's an INTP, we can disagree.
INTJs and INTPs are very similar, so that would make sense. But if you’re questioning your type, you can always look up a video or something explaining the difference between INTJ and INTP.
Well let me tell u that INTJ known for their sense of leading, maneuvering and achieving their purpose (you know in some cases we avoid to be in a position of a leader lol) and that’s what i see in black panther.
Sherlock Holmes is an intj even the BBC version too cause he was born an intj and will die an intj too. End of story. We know how to be sarcastic as well so keep calm.....(specially intps ) lol. Thanks no thanks
Petyr strikes me as an ENTJ,very manipulative and narcissistic. I think Tyrion would be more of an INTJ,what with his constant reading and the Se binges. Sherlock I would have to agree is INTJ, he is very much INTJ-T. Black Panther doesn't stike me as INTJ at all. Walter is very INTJ T as well. I don't know who the girl is,
Yes Baelish is an ENTJ & Hannibal an ENFJ. Tyrion is an ENTP with an ample dip (dip functions - CPT); his unconscious Fi-Si is very apparent. I think the video captures Ni-Fi extremely well though from my own experience as an ENFJ with an ample Ni-Fi dip & the INTJs I know (not the mistypes lol). Oh BP is ISFP, V ISTJ.
This edit is much more befitting of the ENFJ or ESTJ; in CPT they're the master chess players owing to TiNi divergence (the ESTJ has this as a dip function). Most of the characters here have a level of Fe convergence which the INTJ lacks. In reality the INTJ is a very peaceful type submerged in the waters of their own limbic system (NiFi convergence). Plus none of the characters (I appreciate you probably took them from PDB) are INTJs cognitively speaking. Baelish if officially typed as an ESTP in CPT similar to the ENFJ in many ways, Walter INTP, Hannibal ENFJ, the one from Skins ISFP, black panther ISFP, Sherlock ESTP & V ISTJ. Great content just befitting of a more Machiavellian ENFJ or ESTJ. Unfortunately MBTI plays to ubiquitous behavioural stereotypes of the INTJ as some kind of mastermind when we can't conflate cognition with behavioural traits. ENFJs are the strategists you don't see coming, behind that veneer is a very calculating mind as espoused by CPT.
I'm pretty sure Black Panther is a Sensor. Otherwise he would never have been manipulated into fighting Cap and Bucky. An intuitive would have smelled a set up that close to them and searched for the real culprit. Too many things didn't match up. He might also be a Feeler. He certainly seemed blinded by rage, rather than tactical then. And he was also affectionate with the people around in in the BP movie.
Yeah agreed but I didn't want to start a fight in the comment section cause I'm too lazy to read all of them but yeah the original conan Doyle sherlock is intp
High functioning sociopath! 😬🤫. I’m 40 and early I said to myself “damn, I still have no friends, but I know so many people.” I’ve got colleagues, business partners, acquaintances, clients, etc. Do you mean none of them is worthy enough to be my friend!? 🤫
This is a very good edit! Love the aesthetic of this :) However as far as I know I’m pretty sure BBC Sherlock is INTP, and Katniss is ISTP. You should check the personality database for more information! People here make arguments when typing characters/people. In case you didn’t know, the 16 personality test is not reliable because it doesn’t type by cognitive functions. Wish you my best!
I made this edit a couple of years ago and both Katniss and Sherlock where typed at INFJ on the MBTI database at that time! I guess since then more people have voted and changed it! But because I made the video in the past there's literally nothing I can do! lol
Sherlock in that series is way too impulsive to be an INTJ, he is mainly an INTP, but I do get that he sometimes masks in front of people (seen later on the mask breaks at like the wedding, and the ending etc.) I wanted to say he might be ENTP, due to his good influence skills (in the sense of manipulation and getting away with things most people won't, not saying all ENTP's are manipulative, but most of them have good influence skills), but he lacks the drive to try and meet new people. He stays usually with people he knows for a long time, even if they can be toxic at times (even though he can be toxic at times, but I mean, anyone can become toxic). INTP's are known for their close yet minimum friendships. They are not open to meeting new people a lot of times, and sometimes feel like you need to proof to them you are smart or that you know what you are talking about (maybe not everyone, but I do know many that is so), although, when they feel like they are lonely or need new friends, they will go through most people, like an application for like what would be their perfect friend or partner. I myself am an xNxP (due to E was 58% and I 42%, and t/f was 50% each) so it is hard to distinguish me as one type, even by psychologists, as they know that everyday I'm not the same person (metaphorically, not like my identity changes or anything). But yeah. Might be because I have mild Asperger's Syndrome, I don't know.
He strikes me as what an INTJ with ADHD looks like (I am one, lol). If you use the letters, assigning a more “spontaneous” character as a “P” makes, but using the cognitive functions, BBC Sherlock is much more NiTe (sees patterns in his mind and “thinks out loud,”giving definitive statements of fact rather than processing his thoughts internally and exploring various, open-ended options in the external world).
@@Mayakran there is Ni, but he doesn't use Te and he doesn't have tertiary Fi, i think he behaves More like an INTJ, INTPs usually care a bit more about peoples feelings (when they develop Fe) and they are a P type, but they are very calm. Sherlock is definetly a Ti user, and i think he uses Ne-Si(INTP) but he could be an ISTP
Littlefinger in the show is an INTJ, though not a particularly smart one if you ask me. Littlefinger in the books is actually an ENTP though - either shadowing an INTJ, or deliberately pretending to be one for some reason. Book Littlefinger brilliantly improvises all the time, and then sells his improvisations as "planned all along". It's really subtle though. GRRM actually manages to fool a lot of people into thinking that Littlefinger actually does plan everything ahead. His ability to manipulate people on an emotional level (which he notably _doesn't_ display that much in the show) is very clearly tertiary Fe though, not tertiari Fi.
No, Sherlocke Holmes is an INTJ. I know there are some websites that classify him as INTP but this is just wrong, and I (an INTJ) will explain why. INTPs have Ti hero, Te nemesis, and Fi demon. This means that they are hyper aware of their own thoughts, they are afraid everyone else is stupid, and they hate their own emotions. This is not how Holmes is written or played on screen. An INTP Holmes would figure out the solution and then send other people to handle it, would never go outside if possible, and would actively avoid being emotional or friendly towards anyone ever (ANY emotions btw, good AND bad ones). INTJs have Ni hero, Ne nemesis, and Si demon. This means that they are hyper aware of their own needs and behaviors, they are afraid everyone else is plotting against them, and they hate their own memories. Thus, when Sherlocke Holmes has a flash of intuition that allows him to avoid danger, that's Ni hero. When he outmaneuvers his enemies without ever meeting them, that's Ne nemesis. And, finally, when he speaks with anger and horror of his past encounters, that's Si demon. Holmes is a classic INTJ. There are other qualities that mark Holmes as INTJ but these are the most obvious ones.
@@ovis4021 Yes. more importantly, he is Ni hero and Te parent. Holmes observes logic occurring in the environment and makes deductions based on the most probable behaviors. That requires strong pessimistic Te and strong optimistic Ni, which is something only INTJs have. Furthermore, a strong optimistic Te (ENTJ, ESTJ) would make him a great communicator and manager, and Holmes isn't that. A strong pessimistic Ni (ENTJ, ENFJ) wouldn't make him the genius he is. A strong optimistic Ti (INTP, ISTP) or pessimistic Ne (INTP, INFP) would make him a recluse. A strong optimistic Ne (ENTP, ENFP) would make him a loudmouth. Holmes is none of these things. He can only be strong optimistic Ni hero and strong pessimistic Te parent, the INTJ.
@@jacobwiren8142 Exactly he is justifying it with Ni looking for reasoning and motivation, it isn't the observation, rather, the meaning behind the observation and what that means logically. He obviously uses Te when he fakes his death and numerous other times.

I think Benedict's Sherlock is INTP since he's an introverted thinker and has introverted sensing, and generate multiple ideas very fast and focuses on a bigger picture i.e: extroverted intuition
The inclusion of Effy was unexpected but appreciated. Hadn't considered it before

I love all these villains and mastermind types-and then you have the more realistic INTJ’s like MJ from the most recent Spiderman movies or Mr. Darcy.

Why i feel that i was saying everything what was said in video . Devil got another name . hahahaahahahah
As an INTJ: Sometimes I feel like we are the true representaion of Darkness. The brain. It works like it sees every trick behund this world.
So an INTJ fictional character compilation, without Elliott Alderson, Batman, Ozimandias
My new motivational video
Whilst I don't agree with all the typings for example Hannibal is an ENFJ, V an ISTJ & Baelish an ENTJ (I realise you took this from the PDB) the fundamental 'essence' of this video captures Ni-Fi convergence (CPT) in a way few have comprehended which is incredible. The choice of music is very fitting as well. Fantastic video!😊
though i hate Petyr Baelish, i agree with most of what he had said.

I just want to say hi, because I don't have time to read all thr comments
well...you are not with this foolishness
Self sabotage is my thing. Anyone else?
sherlock is an INTP.. Yet I relate to him so much.

Sherlock Holmes in the books is istp and in the series is intp.
As an INTP female, how do I “shoot my shot” with an INTJ man?

I'm an intp but definitely have characteristics of INTJs like Walter White a.k.a. Heisenberg
Then you may have been mis-typed. You might be an INTJ.
INTJs and INTPs are very similar, so that would make sense. But if you’re questioning your type, you can always look up a video or something explaining the difference between INTJ and INTP.
Sherlock is an INTP!
Where is Tommy Shelby ? yes he is an INTJ.
No. He is an ENTJ.
IMHO intj in darkness.
Sherlock Holmes is not an INTJ, he's an INTP.
Yeah that's what I was thinking. Stereotypes get so out of hand when the stereotype gets away from reality.
How is black panther an INTJ?
😕
That's what I was thinking.
Exactly!!
Reminder that MBTI is about cognitive functions, not levels of knowlege.
Well let me tell u that INTJ known for their sense of leading, maneuvering and achieving their purpose (you know in some cases we avoid to be in a position of a leader lol) and that’s what i see in black panther.
He had like... no personality.
He was designed to be relatable to everyone.
Sherlock Holmes is an intj even the BBC version too cause he was born an intj and will die an intj too.
End of story.
We know how to be sarcastic as well so keep calm.....(specially intps ) lol. Thanks no thanks
Nah, sherlock is definetly a Ti dom
He behaves a bit like an INTJ, but his way of reasoning is mainly Ti
I love this video, any more videos like this one ? :D but...
- Where is: proffesor Snape and House MD.
Cool
Sherlock is an INTP but amazing edit
He's not he's an ESTP as was Conrad Doyle who wrote Sherlock Holmes the character requires NiTi divergence.
Sherlock (at least in the bbc version) is an istp but exept for that the video is great.
INTJ mistyped as ixtp.
Why ISTP.
I can see Ti but why Se-Ni > Ne-Si
Im intp what am i doing here please youtube algorithm free me
Can anyone tell me the movie name of kaya scodelerio ???
It's the UK Skins
I'm pretty sure sherlock is intp not intj.
Lonely? Says who? I don't need company of other human beings to be happy.
Fake happiness, gratifying yourselves? Not everyone can be this good. And I don't thing there's such thing as MBTI in reality.
That's cool if we want to believe that but keep in mind that mbti(Meyers-Briggs) was an actual therapist and many agree with him.
You are allowed to be wrong.

However as far as I know I’m pretty sure BBC Sherlock is INTP, and Katniss is ISTP.
But because I made the video in the past there's literally nothing I can do! lol
@@BillyBeanist oh okay! 😊
And the mbti database is by vote sooo who knows really who is who
Sherlock in that series is way too impulsive to be an INTJ, he is mainly an INTP, but I do get that he sometimes masks in front of people (seen later on the mask breaks at like the wedding, and the ending etc.) I wanted to say he might be ENTP, due to his good influence skills (in the sense of manipulation and getting away with things most people won't, not saying all ENTP's are manipulative, but most of them have good influence skills), but he lacks the drive to try and meet new people.
@@Mayakran I see. You do have a point there!
His ability to manipulate people on an emotional level (which he notably _doesn't_ display that much in the show) is very clearly tertiary Fe though, not tertiari Fi.

sherlock holms is intp
@@jacobwiren8142 and he is obviously ni dom
@@ovis4021 yeah he uses Te sometimes, but he doesnt have tertiary Fi, and his way of reasoning is mainly Ti, he also uses Ni but there is definetly Ne-Si. He Is an INTP with good Ni and using Te sometimes
