The Kripp Lure Anchovy Helmet had someone show us to add a mylar skirt to it. I bought a chrome with a green hue to it. Works really well on Coho and Chinook. Our friend said the extra flash Coho like. Seemed the Chinook liked it too. We used two 3/0 hooks, no toothpick. Place the first hook so when the leader is pulled through the helmet bends the Anchovy. Worked very well. Then you just have to figure out if it's a bait bite or a spinner bite or maybe both. If spinners are working good we go with spinners they are always working unless have garbage caught on the line and spinner.
VIP Outdoors has a Anchovy spinner. Pro claims that if the Anchovy or Herring is ripped up or gone the fish will return because of the spinner still working. I believe that is a good idea.

Yakima flashers are indeed quality made with Sampo ball bearing swivels and quality Duo Lock snaps . I have noticed that the flashers come in two versions. One version the flasher rotates clockwise. The same flasher also comes in a counter clockwise version. I personally have preferred to match the rotation of the bait to the rotation of the flasher. What are your opinions about this?

I've never seen the sliding triangle dropper, where can you get those pretty sweet. I like your hook placement in the herring really solid and the treble in the anchovy is killer. Good stuff guys hope we get some fish this year, it just closed outside and wont open now from buoy 10 until 8/15?....
