June 15, 2014 - Beware of being in places you should not be in and listening to voices that are contrary to God.
A true representative of God will stand and speak the truth irrespective of the cost.
A false representative will tell you exactly what your heart wants to hear even if the direction you are going in is leading you to spiritual death.
Pastor Carter is one of my favorites. He is truly led by the Holy Spirit, and so passionate for our Lord Jesus, I love his messages.
This message, though preached nearly six years ago, is so very relevant for our time. I write this on 3.27.2020. We are in the midst of the Covid19 virus. Rather than repent as a nation; rather than our leaders beckoning the people to turn in humility to The Lord and plead for forgiveness, we are charting our own course to the tune of 2 trillion dollars. It is as those 400 prophets who spoke smooth words to a people; having itching ears for what is mans' wisdom instead of God. Thank you Pastor Conlon for being an obedient servant of The Lord. Thank you for listening to The Spirit of God to deliver a message which is still so very true and relevant for TODAY as it was nearly six years ago.

Pastor Carter - you are such a powerful tool to be able to speak this truth! I listened to this message 4 times now because it’s calling me to believe in a bigger God and let go of my nothingness!
Again and again today I give my all to God, may He search my heart and remove anything not of Him! May he consume me and take me to places I can’t go on my own. I’m nothing, I lost everything - but in God I have everything! I found the prize! The eternal possession which is Jesus! This message just challenges me to surrender more and more to God and not be afraid to follow Him in the unknown! Because My God Reigns! SALVATION BELONGS TO THE LORD!!!

Then I guess there's nothing I can do to change all the hate and pain I feel in my life. ....
Fall at the foot of the cross, and allow the blood of Jesus cleanse away all that pain. I can attest, He will, if you will. Admit to Him your wrong-doings, and receive the forgiveness He gives for them, and trust that He will then, pour out into you, the Holy Spirit that will empower you to live a victorious life, in Him. Father, I pray for this one here, and ask that You will draw him unto You by the Holy Spirit working within his heart. Heal his pain and brokenness, and cause him to rise above all the wrongs that have been unleashed upon him. Fill his heart with such a great feeling of the love and forgiveness that You have for him, that he will only be able to rejoice in praises unto You. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen. God is about to do a mighty work in your heart, and is about to just simply blow you away with His presence. Receive Him in His fullness. God bless.

You can. You can make choices. Because you're in the present. You can decide to fight against all they pain and hatred. And you can win if you believe God has enabled you to win. It's all a choice brother. Don't succumb to the mindset that says "i can do nothing". Instead take ahold of the mindset that says "i no longer have to believe I can do nothing.. I can embrace any perspective I want to embrace" and live in that. God gives us the freedom to rise above pain and hate. They're too emotionally expensive
