Thank you!!! I have literally been looking for soo long for a hair tutorial like this. Doing different 80s hairstyles is something I wanna do so I will definitely try this.
Ahhh makes me so happy! Did you end up trying? And i agree! It took me SO LONG to work out how to do this hairstyle because i couldn't find any tutorials on how to recreate that chic 80s/early 90s hairstyle that so many actresses had in movies (but specifically when dress chic rather than the 80s colourful eccentric style) x
Thank you so much for this! Maybe one of the only videos at all that I could find for this aesthetic!! Everything else I see is a beach wave and this is really what I’ve been looking for. ❤️ thank you for posting
I love this so much, I am going to cut my long hair into a Bob soon and I want it to look exactly like this! Do you have layers in your hair? I want to get the right cut for this, it looks sooo good! Xx
Wow 🤩 I love this sooo much. I’ve been trying to loook for a look that’s like Jeanne tripplehorn from The Firm and this is it! You look just like her in that movie!! Thanks 🙏
TBH i do do both. I do ALL ways. Lol, does not sound professional but i've found that to work best with my hair and this cut specifically, since all the strands fall different directions so it creates more of that volume and chaos. I've found you get a very "clean" one dimensional result when you roll them all just one specific way. Hope this helps. P.s sorry for the super late reply x
Doina, I have been following you for years and I am friends with your parents relatives. So proud of you: you are stunning and smart and talented! I am not sure whether its just my imperfect ear but your accent seems to be a bit extra... I remember watching your videos 6-7 years ago and you sounded more authentic... sorry its just a friendly feedback 😊
@@DoinaVlogs Hey Doina! I have short, soft and straight hair as you do! Which Kerastase line would you recommend? Thanks for the video! It was informative! Gonna go by these hair clippers right away!
finally something that can be done with my short choppy layered hair
Haha, hope it worked for you!

THANK YOU! it's the hairstyle i saw everywhere in my research and i could barely find anything on youtube that wasn't a stereotyped backcombed mess!
I tried it! Still feel like it needs a lot of practicing. Thank you for the video. Not many tutorials for this look with this length hair.
I hope you continue making videos! I just found this and it was exactly the kind of content I was looking for! ✨🌺
I’m glad the 80s hair is coming back! That’s so much classier
The video I’ve been looking for! I will never change my hair again once I master this 😅
Ok but I saw that picture you put of Winona Ryder and realized YOU LOOK LIKE WINONA RYDER!!! Which is awesome, both of you are so pretty

Haha, she was literally the inspo!!
Can you clarify which direction you roll each section? It was a little hard to tell if you roll under or over. Some sections look like you did both?

The shirt is nothing but 80's , it's the most 2020 shirt I've ever seen
The shirt isn't meant to be 80's? The hair is? And it's actually from 2016 but ok :)
