I feel like a complete idiot. I didn’t have the auto time update switch turned on so every time I turned off the truck the clock would revert back to whatever time zone they originally programmed it for. Flipped on that switch and everything is perfect now.
It’s under warranty. Dome Lights .Bring it to the dealer if you can’t figure it out. It’s probably something simple. I wouldn’t touch the fuses. That’s what warranty is for. Good luck.
I own a ramger raptor myself. The lights need to be fixed in the dealership, something is wrong from factory it is not ur fault. As for the R button: chose the setting you like (for example you can put it in sport mode to have the gas pedal sensitivity high and better gear changes, then put the suspension in normal, steering wheel in comfort, traction off, and then keep the R button held down for a few seconds and it saves it all) So next time u want these exact settings you just double tap the R button and you are ready to go.
Me and my pops were always Merc guys, we have few including 06 g400 cdi which has done half a million kilometers with us which is around 310k miles i think, we're from Poland correct me if im wrong with the numbers here haha But back to the thing - we saw code orange raptor sitting in a dealership few months ago - test drove it - we fell in love, now it's just funds gathering time and i honestly can't wait till we will be able to purchase this beast. Happy for you man, incredible truck, enjoy it, also your videos are great with helping me develop even bigger urge to just have this car and sleep in it 24/7. Keep up the good work
I was torn between the velocity blue and the shelter green, overall long term I figured the green was sharper for the long term. Spray in liner in my opinion, trash always finds it's way under mats.
That’s a good point about crap getting under mats, I had the decked system in my gladiator and when I took it out there were a bunch of rotting leaves and stuff, fortunately I had a spray in bedliner in that so it was an easy clean up.

Lights should definitely turn on. Back to the dealership. How cool is R mode 😊 Try sports mode, Baja exhaust, traction control off and in manual mode. Sooooo much fun 😅 Looks weird left hand drive. Yep I from Australia.
Thanks for the comment. I already took it in and got the lights fixed, it was a connector up under the dome light apparently. I love the sport mode and the baja off... i havne't done the manual mode yet, i traded an M3 for this so i'm just thinking it wont have teh same feel. i'm shocked at the differences in the Raptor trim between different markets... you get painted drive shafts and locking fuel door and we get a power sliding window... i'm gonna have to make a list of all these differences.
As a Gen 1 Raptor owner, it looks like a baby Raptor, and that's fine. For the bed, don't do a spray in liner. If you need to put something in there worthwhile, you run the risk of scratching whatever you put in the bed. I went with a bed rug and couldn't be happier. I have hauled furniture, computers, and other items and never worried about them getting damaged. Highly recommended.
Right on... it is absolutely solutly a baby raptor! i live near DC and wanted something smaller than a full size and i love the fact that the space between the wheel wells in the bed is 48" because of wider wheelbase... i can fit plywood in my ranger bed without having to build up a frame to keep it above the wheelwells. I was considering a bed rug, i will look into that. is it easy to take in and out if you need to load up a scoop of mulch or something like that?
So carpet mat is easier to remove and install but I've but bigger and heavier items in the 2019 Ranger and a spray-in to me is key. I will say Fords dealership has to due it right though. They did mine and it peeled away why I loaded a motorcycle. They had to re-due it and it was noticeable. Factory spray I've never seen that happen. Lots of things to consider for sure. Best of luck to each person's new adventure in their Ranger.
Your interior lights are probably off their is a + and - buttons by your headlight switch to dim the interior lights it may be pushed off push the + to brighten them and that should turn them back on. Make sure the overhead light switch is not disable too. My Rangers lights where off in the interior and pressing the plus + button next to the lights made them come on again. You may have to have the truck on to turn them back on make sure the over head light switch is on.
I tried that and it just made the instrument panel brighter and darker, but I’ll keep looking and see what else I can find, I may have been messing with the wrong switches
Truck bed cover recommendation, Armor Flex hard cover. Ford has that same cover, with their name on it. Let us know how far front seats recline back. Your interior lights should have come on.

This is globally issue not just you and Ford should fix this issue. I notice you don't have a bedliner. Here in the Philippines its all in package it has bedliner. But there is no window on the rear as I see you open it. The price of the Ranger Raptor Bi Turbo Diesel is 2.339M Pesos. Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 is not available in our Country. I don't know why Ford did not bring here to see the performance of V6. I am pretty sure rich people would buy that V6 Ranger Raptor. The price might be 3.5M to 4M Pesos
On my other Rangers you just pushed it and it came on, and I don't know of any other switches or buttons that turn it on My guess it's tied into the new zone lighting feature it has

Yeah, I was being gentle at first before the video then I was frustrated… hoping with a level head this morning I can be a bit more patient with it and do actual troubleshooting
They had it marked up at first but ended up coming up on my trade so it was a wash and just about even when the deal was done… nothing like some of the dealers asking for 10-20 over!
I will have to check that this morning, it looks like it is easier to access than previous vehicles I have had but haven’t gotten that good of a look at it yet for that

Yes indeed, it is a nice feature and I’m pretty sure the setting are based on the key you have in your pocket so if spouse has different settings and uses their own key they will have their settings remembered when they get in, I will confirm that today! Thanks for the comment! Cheers

Your light issues sounds like an issue…. Better take it to the dealer and take a look at it.. sounds like a minor issue that should be able to fix for you

It was on a lot... sales man took pictures of it coming off the truck and put them on facebook marketplace and i was there the next morning before someone else got to it. Dealer had it marked up 5K but they ended up coming down to 2K and after some more work they came up on my trade the other 2K (granted the trade makes it more complicated becuase their values are always low to start out) so in the end it was a wash... but if no trade it would have been 2K over

yeah, i did... it says to push on the light or flip the switch, i did both those things, wasnt sure if there was some sort of trick i didnt' know about. And sadly, this truck doesn't come with a physical manual... it is a search based system in the infotainment system... and IT SUCKS!
I'm taking it out to the trails this weekend hopefully! and I agree, this isn't going to be a pavement queen by any stretch of the imagination, but it is my daily driver so it will get plenty of highway miles on it
The Ranger Raptor is bad ass too and faster than your Bronco and fits on trails your Bronco will never be able to go. The major reviews give it very high praise.

You have to take it back to dealership so that they can fix that. It's a wiring issue. My f150 tremor had that same issue

They did install the $10 rear tailgate strut to dampen the tailgate. Go cheaper in areas to even out the cost of other items so people will buy

No, I haven’t heard that one… wondering if you have a bad ground somewhere.
Your internal lights are faulty . You just need to push them lightly to turn them on in my Raptor. Try pushing them and not stabbing at them

it is a single setting... unlike my old M3 that had 2 different optional saved sets of settings
