Totally true. There’s no way anything works without that starting point.

I think it's just not discussed enough. There's more to an embouchure than making an MMmmmm shape.

Can't believe this guy is an amature. Great tone and range. Better understanding of technique than any teacher I had at conservertoire. Keep the great tips coming sir!

3:21 and on fuckin mindblowing!! U're 100 % right with the set up. That bottom lip can be a real bitch after a while and then fall back and disrupt the air stream. But as u demonstrate, and might i say god damn, u really described that perfectly with the fingers. Like u were saying about having shitty days and then having hornstar days where everything is coming out as it should and u can just play from the bottom and ascend above the staff like it isn't shit... Then u record it as ur personal diary, totally there with you. Please keep up with 💎💎💎 greatly appreciated 👍 🎺

Great points on setting up Donovan. Especially presentation of the horn on the top lip first. You present great points in your videos straight to the point w/o hemming and hawing prior to the points. Thank you very much. I am so glad I found you here on RUclips.

It's parts of a whole that **all** need to be in place. The first note of the day even if you're not warmed up won't happen if the air isn't there, if the lips aren't right, the teeth alignment and spacing aren't right, if the pressure amount and distribution isn't right, if the tongue isn't right.
