💥Thanks for video I always enjoyed watching tractors doing what they were made for. I like tractor pulls but after awhile, it turns into who's got,the big buck s and very little about the Brand of any tractors, I always loved my AC,s.
Your welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I pull a d17 stock and beat alot of tractors with 10k plus put into the engine. It's the most satisfying thing ever 😆.
Thanks for the video.good stuff.i enjoy watching the older tractor.hats off to all who plowed.tractors ran great an the plows were set an in the ground.i still like the smell of fresh plowed ground.this is farming.
You've got that right. This is farming that takes skill not like today's farmers, letting the GPS and coop farm for them. I don't think most farmers now adays could even get crops in the ground with my equipment lol
Looks like you all had a great time! Man that was some hard pulling!!! I know I love my orange, but it's good to see all the colors in the field together. Thanks for sharing Tim! Hope you have a good one
It was a blast Evan in sure you would enjoy yourself, great people and some awesome old time iron along with a farm cooked meal, how can ya beat that for a day out???
those tractors remind me of the old gear shift lawn mowers 😊😊 when U dont have no more throttle U have 2 shift back 2 a lower gear or U will run out of power dad use 2 say why are U changing so much 4 if U dont the old lawn mowers would run of power thats what U had 2 do 😊😊 OMG 8 16 2O23
Oliver built some great plows. I used to own a 58 D17 diesel with 3 - 14’s snap coupler plow. So the D17 and 4 bottom impressed me. Thanks for the cool video. I love old iron of all colors
Ted has pulled 5 14s with his stock wd45 14.9s 😆 not in this ground, he'll admit it was easy pulling but, still impressive if ya ask me lol. I've got an Oliver 4 14s pull type that does a great job and built good too in my opinion!
😆 welcome to the life of a mounted plow, the guys who never ran one are in aww at the plows the little alliss will pull. Sounds like your situation there was no exeption. Lol
yes the 30 series john deeres were the last 2 cylinders i wanted to ask about the allis wd45 with the 38 inch wheels are they factory allis wheels just wondered but look like you had and friends had fun plowing
No the 45 with the 38s are definitely not stock. But they are high crop wd45 rims. He pulls that tractor and is alot cheaper and easier to put those rims on instead of getting adapters for 9 bolts. If you can find the rims anyways 😆
Very nice video. Enjoyed it very much. I was very tickled to see that D17 diesel going at it. Sounds very nice. I have a 59 D17 diesel I've been tinkering with for a few years now, won a few trophies at the pull with it. Those Budas' have a nice sound to them.
Thankyou Mike. I plow 150 acres a year I better have my plow doing a good job 😆 🤣 😂 would be a shame if these guys pulled there's out of the shed to play one or twice a year and did a better job at it. Lol
You know I grew up with a wd45, tractor jockeying for a guy with a 766, 1066 but the work horses were two 1586 and those were great tractors running right at 200 horsepower, but there's just something about those 1800 and 1850 Oliver's the way they sound
The JD 730 wasn't afraid of any hard work, that tractor looks like a workhorse, wnd the Oliver didn't do to shabby either, the 7000 series Allis Chalmers were really tough tractors, its to bad that Oliver got bought out by White company, well they are a part of AGCO, do you get parts from them or do you go to Napa? The D14 didn't do to bad either, i have a D14 identical to that one, and a JD D that was my grandfather tractor, the year of that tractor is a 1949, you probably heard of Oliver66farmboy channel and WTFarmgirl, i used to be subscribed to the Cornstars, im not anymore. In my opinion they are arrogant, they don't care about their subscribers anyways, i almost forget about Big Dream dairy channel, hers is good too 😎🚜🇺🇸 i hope you didn't have any Bud light on hand 😆🍺 thanks for the video Tim, have you heard the song John Deere green by Joe Diffy?
I get parts all over usually its whoever can get it to me faster and or cheaper. We have an agco dealer about 30 minutes from us so I use them allot but the Napa is only about 15 minutes lol. I don't lie cornstarch either he acts like his 💩don't stink. Spoiled little brat if ya ask me. The D is an awesome tractor a friend I mine has one. You can chance the woods to Allis orange on the note diffy song pretty easily btw 😆 🤣 😂 Same with the international harvester song... just say... on my Allis Chalmers tractor.... instead 😆 🤣 😂
Idk I'd say the 17 diesel would be the most efficient. They use very little fuel. I can't say about the 1800 but if they are anything like a 19 gasser I would not doubt it lol
@patlothamer8059 I do it every year in the middle of May. Usually try the 2nd Sunday in May. All you need to do is bring a tractor and plow 😆. Another awesome video there buddy I really liked seeing the ole 1800 Oliver
Thanks Craig!!!
Thanks for sharing!! Brings back sooner good memories for this old guy👍
Your welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed it Mark!
I like the D17 diesel the best
I enjoy watching all the old iron doing what they were built to do
Me too wish we weren't so far apart and we could go play in my sandbox together lol 😆

Nothing like good old days
I sure enjoy having one day that I can feel like I'm living in that time. It's humbling to see how my grandfather did things.

@@TimothyFluegel I once won a 100 dollar bet with a John Deere guy who said a WD couldn’t pull a 3 bottom plow, the look on his face was priceless
😆 welcome to the life of a mounted plow, the guys who never ran one are in aww at the plows the little alliss will pull. Sounds like your situation there was no exeption. Lol
That’s Johnnie Popper720 I believe I love it
Yes that thing is a beast!
Good deal it looks like you had a really nice turn out
It sure was, everyone had a blast and enjoyed the food, got to talk to some good friends and met some good people as well!
The first one I would say is definitely doing it lol
The Oliver was a nice rig, been hankering for one, use to be a lot of Olivers in my neighborhood. Now you get to level that out!!
I love those style of Oliver's. I wound love to have one. Yes sir when I plow is pretty easy going with the disc this field.... not so much 😆

Those alis charmlers d19 are probly my favorit calasic tractor color and look shape wise

There's just something about the sound of those buddas under a load that just can't be beaten, I know just what you mean there sir lol
Your 7060 allis chalmers and the D14 was pulling the best and had the cleanest furrow and muscle under the hood 👍
Thankyou Mike. I plow 150 acres a year I better have my plow doing a good job 😆 🤣 😂 would be a shame if these guys pulled there's out of the shed to play one or twice a year and did a better job at it. Lol

The Oliver hands down
I'm leaning there too 😆
Enjoyed watching 6 months later
Thankyou Scott!!!

1800 A series Oliver tractor with the Oliver 508 pipe plow is probably the best set up.
It sure was doing a great job!
red dirt holds water 💦 😮 and makes red mud it takes alot of great sunshine ☀😊 and wind 2 dry out low grounds are even worse 😮😮 OMG 8 16 2O23
You got that right Clarence. Most people don't understand that. You must have games simular ground.
I'm partial to the 1800 it's close to what my dad had
I can't blame ya. Even being an Allis guy I sure like that rig.
Only thing missing is me and the 45/3-16's!
You got that right Mike. I'm guessing your not close but if ya are your always welcome to come and play!
@@TimothyFluegel I'm in central Ia. Would be a long way to haul the 'ol 45. If I ever get the CA going....
The 730 is probably the most fuel efficient set up and the 1800 is using more fuel than the other three combined.
That's a myth, paid for by John Deere
Idk I'd say the 17 diesel would be the most efficient. They use very little fuel. I can't say about the 1800 but if they are anything like a 19 gasser I would not doubt it lol
😂🤣😆
How do I participate in the flueger plow day
@patlothamer8059 I do it every year in the middle of May. Usually try the 2nd Sunday in May. All you need to do is bring a tractor and plow 😆. I always post a video on here saying when it's going to be every spring and create an event on Facebook. If you have that, you can look me up on there as well.
Isn't that ground really too wet?
It needs tile.... is heavy red clay that never does dry out. I'm gonna rip it this fall I hope that will help it.
Well Tim where’s. Ur tractors. At least
Bet that big gas burning Oliver don't pass up too many gas cans.....
It's got a huge gas tank 😆 🤣 😂 at least it's got that going for it.
