the system, by design, has commodified basic human needs to an extent where the majority can no longer realistically obtain them. then when things get tough, the institutions and media sell a lie about inflation and supply/demand and that nothing can be done except for people to tighten their belts more. wonder why the younger generations around the world aren't interested in having children of their own, nor are they interested in slaving their life away for a company all for the sake of deifying the cult of productivity and work ethic. Gonna be interesting to see how all these elements unfold when the AI hype bubble bursts.
