Great review. I like both but I definite enjoy Conquest much better in both game play and story wise. It will be a while I would have time to play the 3rd DLC story.
I agree on most points, but I'm sorta surprised you didn't mention the horrendous localization, where the dialogue is full of typos and rarely contains the same meaning as the original Japanese version.
Can anyone please tell me if there's a way to prevent endless enemies or if there's something in the game that actually tells the player when they will be facing endless enemies? That alone has RUINED this great game for me. i love so much about it, but this destroys so much strategy as well as making the Classic mode unfeasible. if there's nothing for this then i'll have to sell the damn thing.
+JustJulyo: They are different than the Pokemon game and have completely different stories & battles (except for first introduction 6 chapters). If you are a true FB fans, you will want to play all 3 of them.
Honestly I'd rather play any Advance Wars game and Ghost Recon Shadow Wars. I tried really hard to like Fire Emblem, but I just can't get into it. The rpg elements make the outcome of a battle dependent on luck instead of strategy a lot of times and I just can't get behind that sort of thing. I feel cheated when I make the best possible moves, but my character still gets slaughtered because the enemy got lucky and a 5% critical hit was triggered twice. There was one mission where my guys had to get to two allies before the faceless enemies got to them. On my first attempt, the enemy had 10 turns and could not hurt the two allies. On my second attempt they both died by the 6th turn, and there was no way in hell my team could have rescued them in time. In Advance Wars and Shadow Wars, my decisions are what determines the outcome of every battle. Nothing happens because of luck. That's what I like.

Real good guys are exactly that. No one is perfect but it’s good to see a good guy without problems.

Is it possible to just buy revelations?
No but trust me, you'll want to play all 3.
Dang. I was hoping it was like the Pokemon games where if you wait for the 3rd installment to get the best of both worlds
