I absolutely love the idea that it's a collaborative display. You don't know who's going to show up to assemble the moon base

So glad to see a new massive Moonbase display (OK, well some old parts, but still)! My LUG is working on our own small scale and one thing I'm noticing about the standard walkway format ... are there just no L shapes (corners)? It seems like every place there's a 90 degree turn, it goes into a 4 way module and just caps off the other two. I'm building on a tight enough space that my corners are already close to my edge and I don't really have the extra 6 studs (or really, the extra parts) to do that. Anyone out there have some images/instructions/suggestions for true corners, whether it's a true L shape or a 45 degree plate design?

I am not trying to hate, it’s just something that my eye caught out. I seriously like the build and understand that I could not do any better. Please don’t hate on the comment and beyond the bricks, if your reading this I don’t want you to take this wrongly. Like I said it’s just something I pointed out

I knew this would eventually happen. 😅 Honestly, it's on my list of things to do but I only remember it when we put up the display and then I forget about it till the next time. Eventually there will be interiors, if only so that Fleebnork will shut up about it. 😜

Not exactly. The Lego Moonbase concept has existed for 20 years, and Chris has kept his Waffle House module together for that long, but a lot of these builds are only a few years old, or newer.
