Had to rebuild a 2 car garage a few years ago, and I told the guy, if you screw up....I will contact Mike Holmes and you can explain your 'screw-up' to HIM. The contractor said he might mess it up on purpose just so he could meet him. We laughed at the time, but I did notice that he was very careful and thorough in doing the work. And he did mention that he knew I was watching the work closely.
I am grateful that his children are part of Mike’s team. There are a lot of love and support within the family and their crews. I really enjoyed watching these shows. Be proud!
I love this man because he has a great heart and enjoys helping everyone. And teaches construction workers how to get off of their lazy butts and do it right!❤
I love all the Holmes shows! Before I watched this vid I could tell all the Holmes' were good people! I wish we had people like them in Tidewater VA! We need you here!!!
I try to find all mikes various programmes as recently found some on a different channel, but MIKE said a rather profound statement, which was’ why just build to Code? Code is the bare minimum, EXCEED CODE & you will have a better home ! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇺🇸🇺🇸
Damon left to start his own company with Mike’s blessing. “Damon Bennett and Mike Holmes announced that Damon is no longer affiliated with the Holmes Group and will be leaving to start his own construction company. To the film crew, you taught me just as much about television over the years, as I learned about construction.”
@@karenoswald8035 I know that is what their press release would tell you. However, it isn't logical to me to leave to start his own company in the meantime Holmes starts new business arm with his son. It looks like he was replaced.
Watching Mike for years, , proud of you and great job With kids , they are really nice People comes from upbring.. Hey Mike hurry upan0 fix up Canada because USA need to be fixed also
Don’t let that hold you back, follow your dreams. Try getting into a union carpenters Apprenticeship Training Program, it’s typically a 4 year program with classroom training and on the job training. I was an instructor at a UBC Training Center, we trained apprentice carpenters that ranged in age from 18 to 50 years old.The training doesn’t cost you anything, you should be able to google United Brotherhood of Carpenters Training Centers
What do you think about Mike Holmes and his family?
I would love to meet them some day!
