Looking through multiple and helpful tutorials like this! Im starting to get bulk from buying cards and I feel like this would be a way that I could also enjoy Pokemon cards!
the fact that when i started doing this myself (i did mine in a completely different way before i found your videos) this was the very first card i made!!! ive seen so many of your videos on ig that i wanted to try your technique out
yooo, nice work! saw* one of these somewhere in shorts or in a tiktok, wondering if I could also do this to a photo, those that are printed on photo paper, maybe if I practice first on normal paper something like that
I've been doing this off and on for a little while and your work has always inspired me! I am curious though, your pieces always look like they have some extra depth to them. Do you round out some of the individual pieces? Like the leaves of the flower on this card, for example, kind of look like they curl back slightly
I recently got back into Pokémon and want to do this but I gotta buy cards so ima wait to buy a booster box so I can try and get plenty of duplicates. Or I need to talk to my friends and see if I can just take their bulk
@@3devious_art that I know. But I don't see you talk about it in the video on when you use it since I also see you using tape to stick the layers together. Is there a difference with what you stick layers to eachother?
@@3devious_art No problem! Just getting into it, it’s super precise work.. you have any recommendations for resin, brand wise? Mod podge isn’t clear enough.
@Piecepack I don't give a lot of details on resin as it's a very toxic substance. I use UV resin, you can find experts out there who can teach you the correct way to use it 🫶

Your channel (and ig, and shop) inspired me to try this hobby out!
That's awesome,! I hope you have fun
@@3devious_art Hi, what pen knife thing do you use?

That looks incredible. Seriously, bravo.
I can’t stop watching I’m obsessed!!
Can you please tell me what brand/product of resin you use? The one you mentioned @ 1:00. Also, what glue do you use to keep the layers together?
Excellent, so nice to listen to your voice. So clear, and you make so easy. Thank you
Your 3D cards are so mesmerizing! Truly incredibly work!
Thank you for this tutorial! I'd like to try my hand at something like this for fun sometime.
Thank you!! I'll have a new updated one soon!!
I’m going to try this. I love your work.
Amazing works😲👍🏼
Seems like you could reduce the number of cards needed by using craft foam around the border and behind the skill panel to build depth
Not a fan of the craft foam look. Plus bulk cards get thrown away by many collectors I'd rather re purpose them
What's the point, they're a ton of card we can use,.
@@chadsshadowsthe point is dont use lots of card

Amazing!! ❤
Also can u show how u would do it if the pokemon isnt attached to the border?
I'm working on a more in depth tutorial in Dec. 🫶
Un saludo desde España. Para el brillo de la primera capa (Charmander) ¿Has utilizado resina o Mod Pod?
How do you add the arcylic/gloss to details like the tail and eyes? Also, do you buy the duplicate cards anywhere? Thanks for this!
It's resin, I buy a lot of my cards from tcgplayer
@@3devious_artwhat you do is awesome. Thank you for sharing

Yeah same, all the best!
I cant wait to goto hobbylobby
What kind of knife do you use? Is it just a normal exacto knife?
Thank you!!
Do you sell these?! They’re incredible!
is she just poking holes around the edges to cut it out?
what did u do to make the charmander in the backround card disappear behind the charmander in the front?
Painted it black
Poor Barry!!!😰

Eu também gravo ✌️
You said you need mod podge. What do you use it for since you dont mention it in the video?
It's glue...lol

@@gaithlynnbakker1582 where do I use tape?
I thought you mentioned using tape. I am just impressed you manage to create the depth with the layers and just glue.@@3devious_art
So Just to be sure, you use mod podge between layers?
Nah imma just have you do it
🎉🎉🎉🫡❤
Hey, so I’m currently working on one of these.. how do you get your resin to look smooth? When I use a brush it comes out with lines
Use a dotting tool
@@3devious_art thank you I will try that, I just watched your most recent short and you’re amazing at what you do!

Hey, I’m curious if I could use super glue for the glossy look or if that wouldn’t come out right? Do you know
I don't know. I use resin for the fire
@@3devious_art resin a bit expensive lol I’m gonna try to do one with out it and see if it looks good, your 3d art is beautiful!
@@Piecepack thank you!! Good luck 🫶 Have fun!!
@@Piecepack Did u ever end up doing it, if so, how did it come out?
@@Capnawesome00 I caved and got mod podge lol
