As someone who’s never shot a video before when I saw this clip I thought “I wish I could shoot this well” 😂 Then heard the critique and it scared the sht out of me hahaha. For an untrained eye like mine I found nothing wrong with it but for a pro it’s a whole different story. That’s why it’s so easy Morgan’s to have your work reviewed and feedback is literally priceless. I’ll be shtting my pants when I shoot my first video, it’ll look like absolute crap probably.

Start, though! Can’t get better at a skill unless you practice it :)

For the panning shot to look smooth, for example, the 90 degree angle that you're covering needs to be panned for at least 6.5 seconds if the FPS of the final video is set to 24. If the final FPS is 30 then the same 90 degree angle has to be panned for at least 5.3 seconds. Any less than that and it looks choppy. Panning for almost 6s is not easy, your hands have to be super steady so that's why if you do pan, just keep that single clip at 60fps. Or don't pan at all, that's an old overused technique when videos were done with tripods, so all moves were either pan or tilt. motions.
