Hello, I am an MC-8 user. Is there a gap when playing on preset changes with the opus? I am only interested in the Opus if preset changes are seamless.
Great video. Thank you for this. Who makes the 3.5mm trs Type A midi cable with both ends male?? Can’t find one anywhere and googled it and still no good results?? Ty
I’ve seen that one but both of your ends look like male 3.5mm jacks. How did you get that type cable did you make it up yourself?? Only ones I find on internet are the type you just sent me on SweetWater. Please lmk. Much appreciated.
Is it possible to only control a certain output level? Example id love to use a pedal to control the volume out of the DI side but not to the headphone or something similar.

Your presentations are always so well produced!
Seems really useful. I'm total stranger to MIDI-switching and programming so I'll watch dozen tutorials before deciding am I even able to set it up 😂
It's actually easier if you just get started, so you can follow along practically!
Great video, congrats!
Holy crap, that's awesome!
04:45 clever stuff !
You can also loop a riff and dial your tone with both your hands ;)
Can you please lmk where you got the red coiled TRS Type A midi cable?? The link you sent to SweetWater is not that cable. Ty
That's a RODE SC2 cable we have from a microphone purchase. It's just a 3.5mm TRS cable. You can google 'Rode SC2' and find something similar.
@@MorningstarEngineering and that cable works for the midi between the mc6 and Opus??

Sad to say the OPUS presets will have playback stutter when changing presets so it's useful only switching between songs, not in mid-song tweaking.
Good morning, thanks for this vidéo. In the video Which Midi software do you use to affect parameters for the Opus?
Thanks
We are not using software. It is the MC6 PRO that is sending MIDI to the Opus to change its parameters.

The DI and headphone volumes do not appear to be separate and are both controlled by Master Volume.
