they’re not good at making up games on the fly apparently.

Usually there are laminated charts over the sandwich station for new people and there's always someone training you. You learn fairly quickly because there's only like 10 general kinds of sandwiches to make.
The hard part is not adding the stuff they don't want once you get the muscle memory 😂 always got that wrong when I worked Wendy's
At Arby’s they categorize the sandwiches and they are all really similar. It made it a lot easier to remember them.
I know, personally, my fast food job experience was painful enough. But, having little magnets and a board like that might have made it kinda fun?

Didn’t fridges just stop being magnetic because of the stainless steel fronts? Stainless steel usually isn’t magnetic. My fridge at least is magnetic on the sides and a portion of one is exposed, so the kids can still showcase smaller works of art.

Yeah that frustrated me more than it should have. I used to work at Wendy’s, there’s no “combination ketchup and mayo”, it’s a dollop of mayo and a dollop of ketchup on there. Special sauce is the stuff McDonalds uses, and I have no idea what goes in it but it’s not the same as ketchup and mayo. RHETT YOUR DISPUTE IS DENIED AND THROWN IN THE TRASH

I took a road trip this summer and got a cracked windshield. Right after the rock hit my windshield, and it started splitting, the song "Vacation" by Rhett and Link began playing because I had my music on shuffle. It really cheered me up during a bad situation. Haha.

I'm so shocked they've stopped making fridge doors magnetic in America. In England we got a new fridge in my house 6 months ago and it's magnetic.
I just realized I know absolutely nothing about chain burgers. I usually make my own, and my own order is always bun, mayo, lettuce, patty, ketchup, mustard, tomato, onion pickle, bun. If there is an extra cheese or a fried (and scrambled) egg, they go on top of the patty.
I do bun, ketchup, onion, bacon, lettuce, cheese, patty, pickled or fresh jalapeños, Mayo, pickle relish, bun.
MY FRIDGADATOR ISN'T MAGNETIC EITHER! Well, the front isn't, but the sides are!

Really? At McDonalds we just had a guide above the stations for how to make each burger. WHen you're new you look at it constantly, but as you learn you stop needing to look. If you forget for whatever reason, it's right there.
