Ep 72: The real Yellow Zelkova (after his armor was crumbling) sinks into the lava to death after Knuckles trying to save him and yelling at Zelkova's name. Knuckles turns away in grief before he returns to the ground. Ep 77: Before Tails is ready to fire at Cosmo, who fuses herself to the Dark Oak planet in order to save the universe, but he slams his head at the control panel in anguish. The music begins. Tails begins to cry. He didn't want to kill Cosmo because he loved her and promises her to stay after the final battle is over. Honestly, the most emotional moment where the music played is in Episode 77. Either the subtitles are on the screen or not, you can feel the heartbroken and painful voice of Tails in the original Japanese dub (the fox was voiced by Ryo Hirohashi, her voice performance in the scene is absolutely perfect and spot-on but feels painful to hear). It is not a joking matter. It is very emotional to watch. The scene you watched will make you cry. The worst part is 4Kids ruined the scene with the music, voice acting (it's not truly spot-on), and some scenes or shots are removed. Why can't 4Kids in Sonic X follow Pokemon? Pokemon also has emotional moments. You'll find out more. That's all I know.
4Kids didn't just remove "some scenes and shots", they literally deleted like half the entire ending sequence of 77 and absolutely butchered what they kept. It's truly an abysmal dub.
It was also used as the background music for the upcoming announcement for Episode 78, while Chris's voice recalls Shadow, Sonic and his friends, Cosmo and even Eggman. Really shows how sad it was to preview the upcoming episode as the final one in the series ... I wish TMS Animations brings back Sonic X with a new series, maybe an adaptation of Sonic Heroes?
@@maryafantalia8614 If you sped up the tempo, it can change the atmosphere, and then you can see the similarities. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the composers for the original Japanese soundtrack chose some video-game music as inspiration and rearranged it a bit.
