Same here. This is a great treasure. I simply adore him and miss him so much. It’s heartbreaking that he’s gone, but the world was lucky to have him even for a while. Luckily his music lives forever, but it still hurts to miss him.

It's great to remember Luciano when he was young. I saw his Met debut as Rodolfo in 1968, never having heard of him before. I never missed a production he did at the Met after that. I went twice to see his farewell in Tosca, but he was forced to cancel each time. Casanova and Licitra took his place. Now they are all gone.
