How about get rid of the IRS all together. Let all of Congress get actual jobs
Get rid of property tax unless for buisness purposes.
I too am sick of paying people to do nothing. Normally people get fired for doing nothing. Why can't we fire useless politicians since we pay them??
Congress would get their act together if they had to abide by the very laws they pass. As it stands, they are able to exempt themselves from many of the mandates and laws they pass. Remember forced Obama care, the C shots, etc.? They were exempt from the mandates and purchasing Obama medical insurance.
Plus I believe, I could be wrong, but I think they get paid for life their yearly salary after leaving office. Someone please correct me if I got that wrong.
They are all criminal.
I think that’s the plan.
Get rid of the IRS make companies like Amazon pay the taxes on profits.
Increasing tax rates are the reason I rolled over my 401k to a Roth. I don’t want to be 59 paying taxes on current income on withdrawals made from my retirement account.
Pre-tax contributions may help reduce income taxes in your pre-retirement years while after-tax contributions may help reduce your income tax burden during retirement.
Both have their perks but you can also save for retirement outside of a retirement plan, such as in an individual investment account or employing the services of a retirement planner/investment advisor.
I have thought about it, but haven't figured out how to get consultation, I don’t live in a big city.
Really? Have you searched? Use any investor/advisor tool.
no but I'm curious to give this a try. Please who is your advisor and how do I get in touch?
There should be no tax on Overtime hours (40+) and when companys give bonuses for hard working Americans.
Agreed!...no penalty for being industrious and being the backbone of your company and our Nation
“Should” Is the favorite word of idealists.
@@MarioSpeedwaggen "yes we can" is the slogan for mindless drones, who have no dreams...... everything starts from an idea.....are you so obedient that you have no more ideas?
I've been saying this forever! If you want to go above and beyond..you keep that money!
Should be NO TAX on a Bonus!
In general, we pay too much taxes. It's gotta stop.
Most taxes are just theft by the mafia who calls itself 'the government'.
$525 billion to Ukraine and $451 billion to illegals and $700.00 to Maui that’s your president America
Oh and dont forget about ALL the Anti Americans who gaslit all of us when TRUMP HELPED THE AMERICAN TAX PAYER WITH 2 COVID CHECKS

Remember when all the democrats getting mad at Trump for not doing anything " so he gets operation warp speed " and then gave US CITEZENS tax dollars back lol
But blame TRUMP FOR THE DEBT hahahahahahahahahahahhahaha
Hawaiin's will STILL reelect briben overwhelming. Sad.
Liberalism is a mental disorder and the Dem party understands that. That’s why they can throw scraps to the people of Maui and still win overwhelmingly.
Hawaian Lives Matter!!! American Lives Matter!
Hawaiians are forever voting blue no matter what unfortunately, just like a single black woman who don't need no man.
Trump is talking about the much of the service industry: salons, waiter/waitress, valet, baristas, many cashiers, room service, personal trainer, doorman, dog walker, bartender, server, drivers, babysitters, etc. SO MANY PEOPLE! THIS IS GENIUS!!
If they only pay taxes on the tiny hourly wages paid to most of those workers they will recieve nothing from Social Security. SS payments are based on taxes paid over a lifetime. Many of today's retirees worked tip dependent jobs and paid no taxes on those tips. And those retirees recieve a pittance from Social Security. Many recieve less than a thousand. Some recieve less than 500. So maybe this is just one of Trump’s cynical ideas for getting Social Security out of debt.
You do realize this can apply to the wealthy right? No regulation on tips means unfettered transfer of large quantities of cash without having to buy art piece. This policy isn't about pocket change. This will benefit the wealthy far more. Need I remind you Trump is a scam artist.
@Wildvideonyc Stop! Trump doesn't have deceiving & misleading policies. He's part of the other party. And he's very smart, and has very good working policies. And honestly - I believe he'll work towards eliminating a lot more taxes in his second term than this. The guy has great vision & makes good business decisions.. There's no need to think negatively. If you really pay attention - you'll see he has great intentions & truly wants to make all Americans prosperous. Don't listen to the media. And more importantly - don't trust Demoncrats. They are America Last in every way possible.
Property taxes should be eliminated unless they are for business purposes. If you have to pay property tax for life, even after paying off your house, then you don't truly own your home.
FACTS
I totally agree love President Trump MAGA
Definitely 💯🔥
It's the first thing you learn getting a real estate license. You don't own property you are just a steward until it passes to the next owner.
Amen!
Yes I will 100% vote for Trump 2024. I'm a registered Democrat and I'm a waiter in a restaurant, because of no tax on tips!
Maybe get a job where you don't have to rely on customers to pay what you're employer should be paying. Since tips are replacing what your cheap employer isn't paying, then yes you should pay taxes on it, just like any other job.
@@troywest7045 lol my friend never tipped and said if they want to make money, they should get a different job. I often told him....dude your just a dick. Stay home if you dont want your food prepared, cooked how you want, being waited on, not having to do your dishes.
Don't worry we will just cut our tips in half knowing you don't have to pay tax anyways 😂😂😂
You have to wonder why Biden and the Democrats didn't come up with this idea. Supposedly, they're the party of the working class. I think it's because they don't actually care about the American worker anymore. It's all corruption and big corporations for them now.
I’d never tip a Democrat. You owe me money for this economy…call it reparations if it helps you sleep.
Career waiter here. It's 90% or more. I am the only one voting for Trump in the last 2 places I have worked. But both owners are MAGA.
I manage two restaurants and it used to be 90%,but now so many young people are coming in and they’re MAGA or centrist voting Trump. Even my hard core Dems(unless they’re over 50) aren’t voting Biden. They’re voting RFKJR or staying home.

@@dollytan1729 Incorrect. 2 million waiters and waitresses. 40 million Americans with student loans. Approximately 20 million that cannot afford to pay them back. Not even close.

More money in peoples pockets means more prosperity, more spending supporting a healthier economy.
Yes, you get it!!❤❤❤ Even on a limited income, that is called trickle down economy. Your money trickle downs to help someone else. I know the publicity for trickle down isn't great but, that doesn't negate the philosophy of the concept.
@@shirleybalinski4535 Lol the trickle down economy has killed this country. It doesn't trickle, it barely even drips. Only in theory does this come close to working. In reality, it isn't even close. Stop it with the nonsense.
Why on earth would there be tax on tips on the first place?!
Because government......
The crazy thing is it’s significantly higher too
Why are there tips? Why not get rid of tipping altogether?
Long story short, people used to tip with cash. Servers could report the cash as tips or not. But since everyone uses cards now, all of the tips go to the restaurant. If they didn't report it as a tip they'd have to pay taxes on it as income. Thus, they give us our tips and report it as income to our SS#. Owners say that they'd like to pay the taxes on our tips but they can't afford it, and if they pay us what we average in tips they'd have to raise prices which would kill their business. Crazy. Remember, servers still make only $2.13/hr in "salary" from the owners. Same as it was 40 years ago.
Ur supposed to report for tips as income
Abolish the fed, abolish the income tax.
THATS HIS PLAN
@llamasindabahamas Yeah, there's a massive difference between what politicians campaign on doing, and what they wind up actually doing. Sucks that this is how things are.
Repeal 16th amendment as it was not ratified and unconstitutional
Straight up delusion to think this country could survive with no income tax. And you guys call dems the ones that live in a fantasy....
@llamasindabahamas yes it is. He outlined to massively cut funding to 3 letter agencies
Massage therapist here and if you work at a company about half our yearly income are tips
I was just going to say the same thing.
I pay for my hj's and Bj's in cash. They don't accept CC's
Cut federal spending too!!!
No tax on bonuses. No tax on income, period. Make Work Great Again
He’ll do it. Get rid of fed reserve, and then no federal income tax. There was a reason he had a painting of Andrew Jackson in his office. Andrew Jackson shut down the Second bank of the United States because it became too powerful politically and economically, and there was a lack of congressional oversight. We’re in the same situation today with the fed driving inflation by endlessly printing money and raising interest rates. We don’t need the fed. Trump proved we can eliminate our debt with tariffs on trade partners. He’s much smarter than people realize.
Everybody would ask to be paid as bonuses instead of salary. Same with tips. I can see CEOs take a minimum wage salary and have the company pay an exhorbant tip for "doing a good job"
No tax on bonuses and income tax will benefit the wealthy far more than thier employees. Why would you want that? The wealthy is earning too much as it is and you wanna give them more tax cuts?
Inheritance tax should be eliminated as well it's so stupid and unfair to pay tax over something you're family already payed.

I worked for twenty years in the service industry and tips is how we SURVIVED. I could not imagine being taxed on them. Tips are a GIFT, not for the govt to sqander. Thank you, Trump!
But did you make minimum wage?
Minimum wage for tipped employees is $8.98 per hour in florida compared to $12 hour for nontipped employees in florida.
If you were taxed only on the tiny hourly wages paid to many tip dependent workers you will recieve a pittance from Social Security. Many such workers are now "retired" on less than 1K a month from SS with no other source of income..
And you will recieve next to nothing from Social security in retirement.
Yet many people bust their butts earning a wage. Why should they be fully taxed while a server is not?
This 'Tax On Tips' has been going on for many, many years. A tip is a gift for being so humble that you would wait on me and either serve my food to me, or, clean my house for me.

Tips are a way a customer can show gratitude for exceptional service... NOT an expected , required or demanded payment .
Inflation and degradation of the value of the dollar is not the restaurant owner's fault and in a lot of cases they cannot afford to fill the gap that the gov creates. I totally agree on the expectation, especially before service is even being given, though.

As a car dealer whose core customer base is affordable transportaion and trying to arrange loans with lenders for my customers, a great reason for not taxing tips is that many service industry employees hide tips and do not show it as income so when applying for loans proving income is difficult. Good start but we need low income tax
When I worked as a waiter the management stole 10% of our tips in tips outs to the bar and buss/hostess staff. Then we had to claim report taxes on the entire amount.
One restaurant I worked for would take 2% of our TOTAL Sales. It was a very popular buffet seafood restaurant in a tourist town. You would have sales of $1,000 to $1,500 every night. It was supposed to go to the busboys and bartenders, but the owners were pocketing it. Three years after I quit that place, a server filed a class action lawsuit. I got a check for $400. LOL. The owner went to jail (the restaurant was also doing money laundering). They would also bring over relatives from Greece and put them in the kitchen and dish room. The deal was they had about six months (before the days of open borders) to try and find an American girl to marry. Most of them failed in that endeavor and were shipped back home and the next lot would come in. It was the Wild West. Miss those days.
That's standard
Any restaurant i find out is not givving 100% of my tip to the waitor or waitress then gets none of my business. Im tipping my server not the bussboy and bartender.

Ok, so living in Nevada where it’s a dominant service industry state… the way tips are taxed changed like 6-8 years ago… each shift you get taxed on a minimum amount of tips; EVEN IF YOU DO NOT MAKE THE MINIMUM AMOUNT. So on slow days you get taxed on money you didn’t even make…
That's crazy

@@NailsbyBunnyBear nope. I live in NY. It was crazy. Because I have never worked at a place that did such a thing. I'm only used to having the credit card tips that are owed to me being claimed. Granted the vast majority of my tips were credit card so 90-95 percent was claimed. But still, they wanted to auto claim a flat 14.75 percent. Thats after a tip out of 7.5 percent. So do the math on that. That adds up to 22 percent. Which means you are claiming all my tips wether card or cash and then some. They called this method the MC quatters method. Supposedly the Vegas casinos started using this method way back when to get the IRS off there backs.
NO tax on tips!! And, How about no tax up $100k annual income, then all below $1M maximum of 25% and minimum tax of 25% for all billionaires including all property.
They can also report higher wages on taxes, that means better qualified potential homeowners and then some.
Or very UNQUALIFIED potential homebuyers who are doing whatever they have to do to get the loan and can’t actually afford the mortgage because they played up their income for long enough to get the mortgage approved
We need to get rid of state tax and city tax altogether. Just use one federal flat tax system. A tip is a gift and therefore, should never be taxed to begin with. The only exception is when certain cities/restaurants force and automatically charge you a tip, but call it "service charge". I'm also against waiters and waitresses being forced to share their tips, F that!
Tips shouldn’t have been taxed… EVER!
How has it gotten like this?
How about no personal federal income tax. The constitution was written with no income tax. As Abraham Lincoln said: earning wages in exchange for your labor is simply an equally agreed upon trade. There is no profit. When the 16th amendment was written, "income" was not defined as labor exchanges for wages. INCOME was from a profit, and profit is what you get from interest, or buying a widget for 10 and selling it for 20, and subtract costs of doing business and cost of goods sold. Trading your life (labor) for money is NOT A PROFIT.
This will affect a lot of people in an incredible way. Employer and employee.
Payoff the National Debt quickly from tariffs and business taxes. Eliminate the Income tax for citizens. Term limits. No stock trading for House members and their families.
Yeah so everybody will be asking for tips. This is dumb.
Maybe they'll actually do there job better
Hell Yeah!!! I have been tipping because I know how bad it is now. 😊👍🏿
Write it on bills you give as tips $$$$ let people know!
Libertarians have been speaking about this for ages.
Libertarians are the worst kind of Marxists.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
They think all taxes is theft so they aren't taken very seriously. Never heard them speak on or focus on removing taxes specifically for tipping either
@@anacc3257 What makes sex not rape? Consent. What makes taxation not theft? Magical fairy dust?
Consent matters. Can't get around it.

If tips were no longer subject to tax, they would become more like gifts rather than service charges. What obligation is there to always give a 15% to 20% tip then? If the service charge were not taxed, many customers would likely reduce or eliminate their tips, ultimately resulting in a decrease in income for service workers such as waitresses and waiters.
In my experience most service workers are apolitical (i.e. they don't have the time to think about it too much and don't vote as a result). Those that do, tend like most other people who are not overly involved, to be Democrats. However, most people vote for their perceived interests and given the margins, eve a small percentage of flipped voters or new voters could make a large difference. That being said, I think economically this policy could be problematic, unless proper guard rails on what constitutes a "tippable worker".
Nah. Tips should be taxed as regular income. It’s just regular income should be taxed less
People think tips were always taxes, I won't tell my age, but I remember when tips were NOT taxed. Then one day we were handed tip sheets to fill out on our tips. WHAAAAT!! About time they eliminated tax on tips I hope he can get that done permanently. THe salary these people are paid is taxed thats enough.
Since when is Trump or Kamala running to be a Senator in the Legislation Branch in government. I, Trump, Kamala has no authority to do that.
This was Ron Pauls plan during his 2012 campaign. Credit where credit due.
Tax is a huge scam and the whole system needs overhauled. I think the problem is, the people that can do something about it, are the people making way too much money from it. The same with insider trading. Why would they want to restrict themselves from making millions of dollars on the side.
So why should I pay tax on my self employed income if a waiter doesn’t have to pay tax on their income? That makes up pretty much their entire income.
So now all employers can just lower the worker's wages to the minimum and replace their normal pay with "tips" and allow us all to bypass most of our federal taxes?
The US dollar is going to collapse. Y’all better start buying hard labor equipment
Im all about tipping when i go out to eat, get food delivered, car wash, etc.. BUT this tipping & donating shit has gotten totally out of hand in this country
All income should be taxed at the exact same rate... including tips!!! I wish that rate was zero..
Don’t forget about anyone else who works in service. There is also a lot of people in spa industry too! Is that included in this?
Why not just make them pay the wait staff a fair wage and not include tips into it. If we just stopped tipping this would happen, they would have no choice but to pay fair wages.
As someone who used to make tips, even if someone isn’t reporting all the tips they’re making, this will still make a huge difference, because now they don’t have to live in fear of getting audited having not reported all their tips.
How about no tax on federal employees that work side by side us military.
THANK YOU FOR SPEAKING UP. what happened to the oath they took
Adam is so dumb and never makes any good points, yet pbd keeps him on the show! I really don’t get it.
Flat tax on all income for everyone, no exclusions. Everyone pays something
I live In Canada and used to waitress before becoming a nurse; we never had to pay tax on our tips. Maybe that's changed - I had no idea. In my opinion, tips should always be untaxed - I didn't even know they were! Let's tax our hard working citizens tips for giving great service, and then spend it on nonsense policies that no one wants. Sounds great!
This affects not only wait staff. Movers can double their income in tips
There are a lot more people who are making living off of tips than just waiters and waitress.
