- An Eastpointe mother who spent weeks searching for her missing teenage daughter only to find out her cousin had thrown the girl’s body in a dumpster delivered a powerful victim impact statement Wednesday in court. Ciera Milton, the mother of Zion Foster, spoke for about eight minutes Wednesday (March 30) during the sentencing for Jaylin Brazier, Foster’s cousin.
The fact that he was right along with her mother helping her put up flyers.That is a different kind of evil!

It hurts to the core knowing that a family member who’s supposed to be loving and caring took your daughter’s life. To throw someone in the trash and then act like you’re trying to help find her is sickening. The least he could do is provide evidence of where her daughter is, so that she can have peace knowing that she could see her baby one last time.

I don't feel like it's enough either… But since they haven't found the body and they don't have any evidence as to what happened to her. He confessed to putting her in a dumpster. But that confessional is not evidence. So while you and I probably feel that he should be locked up forever call without physical events they can't sentence him in that manner. I hope they do find a body. That way they can look at evidence, and give a proper appropriate sentence

@@ahoward3503 Confessions are evidence, but they can't be taken solely by themselves. And he only confessed to dumping her, while insinuating that she died from overdosing. If they find her body now, it's most probably too late since she would be very decomposed and her corpse was probably crushed in the landfill.

I did the same, I always try to empathize by imagining myself in that situation and I have two sons around her daughters age. To raise our beautiful baby to a young adult and have so many hopes and dreams for them because they’re suppose to just be starting their lives and to know it’s been taken away from them and as mothers, us not to know where our baby is, can’t have a proper burial. I don’t know what kind of marijuana he was smoking but I know a lot of people that smoke and they don’t act out the way he did. This is crazy af and I believe that he may have sexually assaulted her and she was fighting or something and he killed her to keep silent. I know first hand what it feels like to lose a child. What she feels for her daughter is exactly the fear I always have in my heart for anything to happen to my nephew, I wish her all the healing fr, I know this is hard for her, her speech CRUSHED me, knowing her own family contributed to her daughters disappearance has to be so devastating, I'm so sorry to her and the rest of the family. I witnessed two separate occassions where he just fell face first onto the floor passed out cold, got up having no idea what had happened.

Something happened, and he may not even know all the details of what happened. No matter what though he was aware enough to confess that he put the body in a dumpster. Why he would do that does sound like panic and fear no matter how disgusting it is. He probably really don't even know what happened or dont want to admit what happened. They probably was suppose to just smoke out and get high, but once that chemical get to certain chambers in your brain it's over with. And unfortunately baby girl is missing.

💯. I've read a lot of cases in which bodies were discovered in dumpsters or landfills and usually this is because the murderer did not cover the body well enough to keep it hidden. The fact that she has yet to be discovered shows that he had the presence of mind to cover his tracks well.

Based on prior knowledge of this case, he was liking her. I see some people saying that they aren’t blood cousins. Doesn’t matter at the end of the day because women and girls need to learn to protect themselves from family members and those who we consider family members, who behave inappropriately with us. Even if something as simple as too close of a hug, a pat on the thigh, or a weird/inappropriate comment.
Also stop taking drinks and getting high with these men, putting yourself in a vulnerable state to be taken advantage. Stop accepting anything from them that you aren’t around during the process of it being open or made, to ensure that the item isn’t laced.
I believe that when he seen that she wasn’t receptive to his previous advances, he decided that he was going to have her by any means necessary. Because she was always so readily available for smoke sessions, he used weed often to gain access to her. She probably never questioned his intentions or capabilities, as long as she was able to get “smoked out” for free. It’s possible he laced her blunt. It’s possible he could have pressured her into trying a different type of high. Only he knows how he got her into a vulnerable state, but once she was there, he had his way with her and disposed of her like trash. All he seen her for was what he desired from her. That’s why women have to stop being so desperate for free gains from a man that they can’t see that the man is using the objects to manipulate them. If he was bold enough to make advances via text where she could show someone else, I know he was bold enough to make advances face-to-face during these late night one-on-one smoke sessions in his car, in front of his house. But she brushed them off because of what she was benefiting, not taking into account that he could be capable of harming her.
