Adapted by Maximianno Cobra, from Shakespeare's "Timon of Athens", the film exposes the timeless challenge of social hypocrisy, disillusion and annihilation against the poetics of friendship, love, and beauty.
Outstanding! 'But what care I for words? Yet words do well, when he that speaks them pleases those that hear.' I am sooo pleased! This is just As I Like It.
This is probably my favorite Shakespeare comedy. I definitely liked the acting and music style, and the scene change music especially fit the tone of events very well! :D
It's a lovely upbeat comedy. Took me a few listens to fully understand as there are a lot of characters while not a huge amount of significant events after the first Act.
I'm loving Jacques in this. If I'm not mistaken the same actor plays Edmond the bastard in King Lear, also kindly uploaded to this channel. I could be wrong. Such a great voice.
