F1 cars are much faster and better at everything, so they'll simply give you more mental comfort knowing the car can brake late and push itself harder than you can imagine. Rather than a sls amg which can scare you cause you might not have as much control over the car as an F1 car. Not talking about low speeds though, F1 cars are much more accident prone in low speeds.
Despite the screams, I quite enjoyed this hot lap. Actually, I'm always surprised at how relaxed can be Hamilton. Also, seeing him pushing the limits of the car remind us all that he is just a passioned guy which is great in my opinion.
