I'm going to cut a piece of plastic from a yogurt cup and use an ordinary band-aid. That should work exactly like this and costs nothing! I can't handle thimbles at all. That's why my fingers are often badly pricked sewing hard fabrics.
The nice part of the thimble is that it slips on and off. I would get tired of having to reapply the bandaid every time I was my hands, but that's me. A yogurt cup would work for some kinds of sewing, but I would want a thicker plastic for hand quilting. Something like a credit card...
Nonono...plastic yogurt cups are not nearly thick enough. A needle will punch through that in a heartbeat. Recycling and saving $$ is great but in this case it would be a false economy. Don't risk your fingers!
I would glue a penny instead is plastic
doo-hickey included!
Nice thimble 👍🏼😃
This is such a great idea. Thanks for sharing!
Отличная идея для напёрстка! Сделаю себе такой. Спасибо! 🤗👏👏👏👏
I have man hands lol! Thimbles never fit right!! I may have to try this

Great idea! I love no cost recycling ideas . I may do the same with a bandage and plastic milk jug ❤
