That wasn’t all that profanity laced. However Scranton appears to be an architecturally beautiful city for the most part. Now if it could only revive and diversify its local economy that would liven up the city.
Nice video! I’m from Scranton so this is all familiar stomping grounds for me. Watch out for the potholes and one way streets, we have way too many of both lol
Scranton is considered Steamtown and the electric city The dates at that cemetery start in the 1700's That red light is probably original That building is the old Penn security Bank That Mill is the original metal smelting plants Welcome to downtown Scranton 'home of dunder Mifflin' is the worst welcome The Lackawanna Depot is the Radisson hotel That museum is the Chamberlain building or General Dynamics
This tour is as PA as it gets. This can be any city or town in the state. As someone born in Philly and raised in the coal country of the Poconos, I love this and hate it all at once,
Scranton is one creepy city after dark. I remember walking downtown with a now ex back in October 2017. We walked from the Radisson Hotel to a pizza place down the street and it felt eerie! Lol
That building on your left is a military depot when leaving south side and on a parallel street to it is the ammunition depot that sends casings to Tonyhanna Military Depot .. it isn't an electric facility lol ... across the street is the iron furnaces used to smelt iron before it was sent to Pittsburgh to be smelted into steel. 😅 Scranton is also a town. Not a city. It's only a city because it has more than 50k residents. It's also a bummy and broke ass town. Slocum Hollow isn't what it used to be. One of the original names before it was called Scranton.
South side is a dump ! So is the hill section any more ! West side real bad ! O wait all of scranton is bad any more ! After the middle 80's it went down quick ! Mr conners !! 😮😮
I have not been back to Scranton, where I grew up, in almost 60 years, yet I recognized every section of town you drove through. Many thanks!!! 😊
That's what I'm here for.

Our oldest industry is political corruption, so needless to say we're perpetually broke.
Steamtown National Historic site moved from Vermont to Scranton in 1984

I kind of like it lets go to Scranton y'all🎉
Scranton could be nice except for the politicians that don't listen to the residents. I guess you get what you vote for.
I don't know why but I always get lost when I drive around Scranton lol
Steamtown was moved from Vermont to scranton.
Michael Scott is buried in that cemetery.
