Keep them standards and don't let anyone persuade you anything different. I lost out on 26 years of abused marriages. Raised 5 children with the help of the Lord. I never knew God until 36 years ago when my husband deserted us. That's when I turned my life over to God. I've been in Church 36 years now and I have been putting God first, letting Him be my ALL in ALL!!! Never had a desire to be remarried all these years. I'm now 70 years old and content with God being my husband. People laugh at me and can't figure out why I'm not married but I always tell them that I Love the Lord with all my heart and I know he will never leave me nor forsake me. It's not a trust issue with me. It's a content feeling that I have. I love how you feel about God and just trusting in him. It was instilled in you. I understand your reasoning for being single and I totally agree with your position. Relationships are hard and can be a lot of work. I am single too and have never been married. Not saying that it is impossible to find that special person to be involved with, but it takes a lot of wisdom to know which one is the "right" one. I believe Most people would love to be married if they can find the right person. But I believe that there are some who will not settle; and some who will settle just because afraid of being single. I think the latter are ones who do not know how to find happiness within themselves-depending on someone to make their happiness. I admire how you are making your own happiness- being a giving person. I haven’t made a cheesecake in ages. Will definitely try this recipe. I probably buy crust- never made crust before.

The hurt, lack of trust, & domestic abuse put up with was debilitating. So yep been there done that. Been single now about 25yrs, everyone ask me same why I remain single. Raised by my dad & grandma...thru pure humble prayer God sustains me & my soul. All that's glitter ain't gold baby - be very careful in making choices. HE gave us free will & choices. You are telling my story to a certain extent,. I was married for 14yrs and now divorced for 16yrs. I tried dating and kept meeting guys with families at the house so I’ve taken a break as well. I have the same expectations for the Lord in His time. I support you and your decision to wait on The Lord, times/people are very different nowadays so it’s best to wait. God has special people like us hidden for protection and we need to wait on His special person for our lives to share with. 🙏🏽❤️😷👍🏾
The reason I stayed single was because I had to be the man. When a woman is in the man’s place, because the man took off, because he got scared or couldn’t figure it out or whatever. Then you wind up working so hard, that getting with a man may not measure up to your standards as to where a man should be. The chocolate is very bitter. Christians had to scrap and scrape on the streets while everybody else was living expensively without a care. I had a very bad experience. Went through too many rounds, I tell you that. Had to figure it all out by yourself. Nobody wasn’t communicating. It was so rough. The hardest thing, Christians or not ever had to go through.

I believe Most people would love to be married if they can find the right person. But I believe that there are some who will not settle; and some who will settle just because afraid of being single. I think the latter are ones who do not know how to find happiness within themselves-depending on someone to make their happiness. I admire how you are making your own happiness- being a giving person.
I haven’t made a cheesecake in ages. Will definitely try this recipe. I probably buy crust- never made crust before.

I’ve watched a lot of cheesecake recipe videos in my time, but yours was the most picture perfect. Looking forward to copying your every move sometime soon! I appreciate your insights into love and independence. I agree with others that marriage and partnership aren’t for everyone and loving yourself is extremely important. But you touch on some deep personal observations about struggling to trust partners after being hurt before. You are a successful independent man with many loved ones in his life. God may bring a wonderful woman into your life but you still have to be able to receive her and trust her when that time comes. I’m no psychologist Chef! Just bouncing what you’re saying back at you, gently challenging you to examine the feelings you describe in this video and be aware of where they come from. The hurt, lack of trust, & domestic abuse put up with was debilitating. So yep been there done that.
Been single now about 25yrs, everyone ask me same why I remain single.
Raised by my dad & grandma...thru pure humble prayer God sustains me & my soul.
All that's glitter ain't gold baby - be very careful in making choices. HE gave us free will & choices. I learned a lesson where I'll never settle nor go back to putting up with adverse behaviors in the name of love - mistreatment & abuse changes that deep love ya had forever!

The reason I stayed single was because I had to be the man. When a woman is in the man’s place, because the man took off, because he got scared or couldn’t figure it out or whatever. Then you wind up working so hard, that getting with a man may not measure up to your standards as to where a man should be. The chocolate is very bitter. Christians had to scrap and scrape on the streets while everybody else was living expensively without a care. I had a very bad experience. Went through too many rounds, I tell you that. Had to figure it all out by yourself. Nobody wasn’t communicating. It was so rough. The hardest thing, Christians or not ever had to go through.

I'm with you, chef! There's a difference between not looking for love and actively avoiding it. I too have had problems with picking the wrong person each and every time. And I hate it when people say, "oh you'll find someone someday". But I don't wanna! LOL So long as you're happy with yourself, and have friends and family that love you, you're doing good in life! And don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Valentine's is about more than just romantic love; you can honor all your loved ones that day. So happy you've found a joyful and FULL life without putting yourself through any more drama! :)
