Woah was a quite of an adventure to draw and color her!
I felt challenged to balance well all purples, and at some point I wasn't sure if the contrast was enough xD
And I somehow missed coloring eyes on this one, but at same time I like the blind vibe, so mysterious!
My fav part was the wings, oh how unexpected //sarcasm
And the flowers! Lately I have been really interested in drawing flowers~ feels so calm!

This drawing is sad ;-; she can't see the beauty of the world...her eyes can never see how beautiful she is...
To be disabled doesn't have to be a bad thing. Maybe she was born this way and don´t know any different. Maybe she can see through her fingers and feels the shape of every single flower pedal by every little touch. Maybe she sees the world in her own way like you will never know and perhaps her world is even more beautiful then ours will ever be.
( I am a proud woman in a wheelchair and I wouldn't like it any different.This is a part of me after all :))
I mean not being able to see yourself sounds great to me (I have issue's) and yes I'm sure her world she see's is more beautiful than the one we see, some people would like to stay the way they are and that's ok...as long as your happy that's all what matters!

I am sure you will find your you place in this world. Everyone has issues and wants to hide away sometimes but that´s ok because if everyone does it´s normal ^^ Give it some time. I belive in you! But what´s more important you have to belive in your own strength. "hugs"

@@Rose-tl3pt ahhhh, you're right! After all the others keep mentioning problems about her without background knowledge. Assuming she could be handicapped or something before understanding isn't fair unless it's just a theory, I'm glad you used what if and maybe.
The way you draw your poses so easily never ceases to amaze me. Heck, I’m still trying to draw people from side view owo. Your drawings always inspire so much meaning because of the way you colour and pay attention to detail. You truly are my role model, Hyanna. :)

She's doing the same things a lot, anime girls, portraits, there also is a lot of diversity in her/his (idk) drawings but it's very often around the same principle
Kaiju I think it's because of the commissions, people actually choose what they want in the drawing.
Oh yeah it's a commision i didn't notice, then it's not the artist's fault
She/he can do one time for example realism chellenge, but this is her/him style so why don't draw anime everytime

Yes!! I've been waiting for a speedpaint for this piece ever since I saw it on your dA page! I can't find a right a word to say how much I love her hair. I always love it when you draw hair with lots of strands in it, and I also love how you choose a different color for the strands that are drawn behind. The way you draw wings is so amazing and real, I wish I can draw wings properly like that. I didn't notice the small yellow details until now. It's a very neat touch, along with the flowers on her hair. And god, that background! It must have been hard choosing just one of the options, because they all look so good!

If you don't mind, can I ask you this question? I noticed that you never put the character reference beside the picture while drawing, unlike most of the artists who always have a reference on one side. So how can you pick the colors so accurately?! I've been wondering that ever since I started watching your videos. I hope you will answer this question. Thank you!

La Lazuli :v It's mostly just cultivating a love for art and drawing! If you keep at it and put in time, knowledge, and effort...you can get to a skill level like this too! :D People say practice makes perfect, but practicing without knowledge won't help anyone learn and grow...because ultimately the more you understand a subject, the better you can draw it! So go out and look at different lessons on youtube, follow some tutorials, do art studies. Time, effort, and knowledge is what makes perfect! Take those artist reigns and see how far you can go! You can absolutely attain great art skill with work! It'll take time, but it's worth it if it's something you're interested in. I believe in you fellow internet artist!!!!

why is it that 2018 things aren't attractive like they used to?
To me,it's the people.Everyone now strives to keep up with trends,and will make everyone like this.The only people who don't are getting "called out" for it as if the whole thing isn't even a joke.More the matter,kids are literally learning curse words at,what,the age they're able to walk??Everything is going downhill,but I can see where you come from if you're talking about repetition.
